Capturing beautiful images is important but to me capturing beautiful moments is the most important. I’m a big fan of morning walks with my family, running, cycling, hiking, good music, sunny days, last minute trips, and apple products. I love Jesus, my wife, my daughter Harper, my son Smith, traveling, experiencing new cultures, my family, and helping others. As a husband, I firmly believe in marriage and want to do my best to capture all that it means to get married and to celebrate that with you through photography.

I was born and raised in Viet Nam, spent my college years in the US and France, and now live in West Chester, Pennsylvania. I love languages and learning to express myself in varying terms. I love the feeling of wholeheartedly understanding an expression in a language when no translation can carry the same meaning. To me, photography is a complex and multidimensional language. A photograph is a text that evokes different interpretations and feelings from different eyes and hearts. My job is to create not just a beautiful photographic document, but also a unique expression of who you are in a way that can’t be translated by memory and words. Coming from a family of artists and photographers, I was given a camera at a young age and never put it down. I am passionate about my work and love the challenge of getting images my customer will love. We work the world over covering weddings and corporate events and our years of experience in almost every industry is what brings both excellent images and service to every client.

I'm Lisa! Llover of neutrals, brunch, & marriages more beautiful than your wedding. Most days you can find me dancing in the kitchen with my husband John, exploring trails of a local park, watching Netflix, soaking in as many puppy cuddles as our little dachshund Addi will allow, or editing away with the biggest glass of green tea by my side. I am a believer holding hands after 50 years of marriage, snuggling up on the couch even if it’s a little too small, kisses goodnight no matter how late, and holding on tight to the thought of forever.

I am a Pennsylvania native. My grandmother gave me my first camera for my 8th birthday. I grew up in Malvern and received my BA in Advertising from Penn State University (and briefly minored in Photography). After graduating I moved to Philadelphia and worked in advertising. My advertising career took me to sales and then into the logistics field. During this time I continued to enjoy photography as a hobby and as my skills improved I began freelancing for The Town Dish, Chester County Hospital, West Chester University, Weber Gallagher, and the West Chester Parks and Recreation Department.

My favorite images are almost always the moments through your wedding day that happen organically. I love the moment that the bride and groom see each other for the first time, whether that is before the ceremony or when the bride walks down the aisle. If you decide to see each other before the ceremony, I will set you up in a spot with great light, and then shoot from afar with a long lens. This is your moment and not one that should be posed or interfered with. Of course, there will be some posed photos throughout the day, but I promise that you will not be smiling at the camera for lengthy periods of time.
