The Hive is a beautiful event center located in Staley, NC. We are situated on 200 acres of rolling farm land in Randolph county NC. Our facility began life as the clubhouse for Ferguson Farms Golf Course. When the golf course closed in 2012, it sat abandoned until our family came across the land. We came across this gem while we were searching for a larger property to expand our farm. It had been neglected for so many years, but we immediately saw great potential in its natural beauty, barns, and clubhouse. The streams, ponds, and woodlands teamed with wildlife and we just knew this farm had to been revived into something new, a place where joy, laughter and unity would be experienced.

The Roost at Butler Farm is a country style wedding venue in Staley, North Carolina. Nestled in the heart of Randolph County, this venue is filled with rustic charm, featuring a medieval post and beam barn, which sits at the heart of the property, offering a romantic ranch style atmosphere to your special day. Guests can exchange vows in the classic barnhouse, or they can choose to have their ceremony on the open fields, surrounded by loved ones. We added only "real" materials like concrete, brick, steel, reclaimed wood and glass in bringing the old building back to life as a wedding venue. The result is a truly unique, handcrafted, industrial urban-renewal work of art! Cadillac Service Garage features a private Terrace Courtyard, gorgeous architectural features, industrial texture and a Wandering Garden for photography, multiple indoor & outdoor ceremony locations, two large, well-appointed private suites with early access, two built-in bars, a built-in stage, on-site parking, custom-built farm tables & Chiavari chairs, and custom lighting that includes permanent (indoor & outdoor) festoon string lights.

It all started back in 2018 when the pastor’s wife, who was known for coordinating the church weddings, wasn't available.  With a few weddings being a bridesmaid under my belt, I said yes to running a small 50 person backyard wedding, & it went smooth! That’s when I fell in love with weddings & became the new director for the church weddings. Southern C's Farm is a lovely 127-acre working horse farm with green, rolling pastures surrounded by pine forests and sparkling 15 acre lake. It is well manicured, with flowers blooming year round. Your wedding will be the exclusive event on the property with access to the Lodge at Southern C's for overnight accommodations (4 bedrooms/4 baths) on the lake, the 1820 Log Cabin or the magnificent Hunt Box overlooking the horse pastures. All three accommodations are yours to select for members of your party to relax and get ready on this special day!
