In 1910, President Taft signed the bill to establish Glacier National Park as the country’s 10th national park. Mr. Healy was given a plumbing contractor for the train depot here in St. Paul, where he met Samuel Bartlett, the architect of many of the railroad depots and Glacier National Park Lodge. Healy then commissioned Bartlett to renovate and enlarge the house. In 1914, the farm was sold to John Healy, the owner of Healy Plumbing and Heating Company of St. Paul. Mr. Healy’s company became closely tied to the Great Northern Railroad, as it provided the heating and plumbing for many of the train depots that were being built around the country at that time. The farm was named Hope Glen Farm, the name of John Healy’s mother’s maiden name of Hope, and the house settles in a Glen, thus Hope Glen.

Our wedding at Hope Glen was absolutely beautiful. Michael and Paula have done a wonderful job making the property look nice and have great staff. The treehouse was amazing to be able to stay in the night of and we will absolutely be going back sometime. The only thing that came up was the girl who did our morning orientation did a very poor job. She was young and didn't really seem to know what she was talking about, and left us with little to no helpful information day of. There were a few things, such as the hanging basket that she wouldn't have even told us how to do if we didn't ask, which isn't helpful because we don't know the venue like she does. Ultimately, I would absolutely go back if I could! I look forward to reliving the memories everytime I drive by!!

Rolling Ridge was everything we wanted in a venue! When we first saw the venue we knew it was perfect for our day because there are many wonderful options to have your ceremony, dinner and dance. We knew no matter what that if Option A (having ceremony/dance outside) didn't work out due to weather, then we were perfectly fine with Option B which would be moving everything in doors because everywhere has great ambiance which put us at ease during the planning months. From day one they were so accommodating and truly let your visions come to life. They also were so organized and provided the best planning tools so you felt like you were always on track and they helped you think of all the little details it takes to hosting a wedding. I never felt stressed or overwhelmed when working with Rolling Ridge. All of our guests were blown away by the beauty of this venue and we can't recommend them enough to any future couples.

It is hard to put into words how amazing Crooked Willow is. It is unbelievably beautiful and it’s obvious Derek and Jody have poured their souls into making this venue one of a kind. Our day was very cold and windy, but our spirits never faded as we knew there was amazing interior space to take our photos. Derek and Jody spent so much time with us making sure everything was exactly the way we wanted and also gave us many options and ideas we didn’t think of that took our wedding to the next level. They are wedding pros! They also bring to the table an extended network of small businesses that, when married in unison (pun intended) with Crooked Willow, operate like a Swiss watch. Seriously, every company we worked with was recommended by Crooked Willow and they did not miss the mark! We had one minor hiccup on our rehearsal day, I let Derek know and he handled it without us even knowing, no worries. These guys are here for you on your wedding day, they truly get it and understand it’s the most important day. They are extremely responsive to messages and ideas. Derek was also our bartender which was really cool. Ultimately, if I could marry my wife a second time I would and I would do it at Crooked Willow!
