Liz is fantastic to work with - she's calm, well organized, and creative. Exactly what you need from a planner! Liz helped us think of every last thing we needed to prep for before our wedding weekend so that there weren't any surprises. Liz interfaced extremely well with our other vendors and kept them on track leading up to and day of. She kept everyone informed as we developed and fine tuned our detailed day of schedule, which ensured everything went smoothly. When it comes to creativity, Liz is who you want in your corner. She has a talent for calligraphy and hand wrote all of our place cards, hand painted names on all of the ribbons around our menus (and hunted through stores for the perfect ribbon color), hand painted our table numbers, and got a special stamp made of one of the key design elements throughout our wedding. Liz and her team also constructed 100 welcome bags from the various items I shipped to her and then hand delivered all of them to our different hotel blocks. After our wedding, she and her staff even packed up and stored all the items from the wedding overnight and then delivered them to us the next day. These were the types of things I didn’t know how to plan for (and that kept me up at night) before we hired Liz, and she just simply handled them without an issue. If you are looking for full or partial planning, I highly recommend working with Liz!”

“It is not unusual for wedding planning to begin more than a year in advance of your big day. Venue, flowers, decor, churches (bring your own priest which is a thing), engagement photos, DJ, wedding party, save the dates, invitations. The list DOES. NOT. STOP. With all of these moving parts it really makes you wonder how such a complex event can happen without the slightest issue and seemingly end before you know it. Well, Liv is our reason. After months of planning, and picking, and choosing, and changing, and scrapping ideas our bandwidth for creativity and follow-through was wearing thin. Liv saved the day. She seamlessly coordinated communications between all parties and vendors to ensure that everyone was on the same page. I will honestly say that without her our day would not have come together like it did. Everyone tells you that something will inevitably go wrong regardless of how thorough your planning. Liv didn’t let that happen. The groomsmen forgot tie clips. Liv ran 5 blocks to pick up tie clips for the boys and was back before the girls even arrived at the church. Her foresight and planning were impressive but her ability to think and adjust on the fly is what made our day go off with zero issues. We cannot thank Liv enough for her help. “Booking Cassie to be my wedding coordinator three months out to my wedding day was the best decision I made in the wedding planning process! I really thought I did not want or need a planner/coordinator, but having Cassie there really allowed me to enjoy my wedding. Cassie was diligent, organized, responsive, and patient. Cassie was so on top of every detail and knew all my vendors’ contracts inside and out! I had done lots of research online to make sure I knew every detail going into the wedding planning process, but there were some things I would not have known and Cassie was able to guide me through. For example, one of my vendors insisted an additional hour of rental time needed to be added to the wedding day (that would have cost me hundreds of dollars) and Cassie advocated for me, citing their contract, that it was not necessary. Cassie was also available to help make decisions regarding decor, helping me decide on pieces that best suited and enhanced the venue. I explained my vision of romantic candles everywhere throughout the event. Cassie and I worked together to shape where everything would go to create the seamless look. Cassie (and her assistant Cammie) made everything look stunning on the wedding day - and expertly packed up everything at the end of the night for us. I thought I could have my sister or family friend be in charge of so many of these tasks, but it was *so nice* delegating this out to a professional so that everyone could enjoy the day. “I won't lie in this review and say that I did not think I needed a wedding planner when my now wife and I were about 8 months out from our wedding date. Steph is absolutely the most worth it investment we made for our wedding. From day 1, you can tell that she is going to make your wedding day and lead up to it as easy and seamless as possible. I genuinely do not think our wedding would have been as smooth or fun if I had to worry about making sure everything was in place and on time. Steph goes above and beyond what you will typically see for a wedding planner, going so far as to meet with your vendors multiple times in the months leading up to your wedding and take A LOT of the worry and stress off of the couple. She was absolutely one of the easiest and kindest people to work with, guiding our choices and timeline with her plethora of experience. Additionally, she does not push anything on the couple that they are not comfortable with, and is always open to having extended conversations about certain topics and being willing to share ideas. I cannot overstate how crucial she was to our wedding, and how much her help changed my mind about needing an amazing wedding planner like Steph. If you want someone who will always be on your side and working to make your day special, she's the right person for you!”

“As someone who had an unfortunate experience with a wedding planner scamming me (aka I paid her a deposit and she ghosted me), believe me when I say Breanna is the real deal. I signed her for partial planning services and she did not disappoint. For context, I had no idea what I was doing. I had never attended a wedding and my parents are immigrants who didn’t have the whole American wedding experience, so they had even less of a clue of how it works. I knew I’d miss crucial details and needed someone along the way as I was planning all by myself. Breanna came up with timelines, emailed vendors for me, checked in frequently, and gave me solid guidance whenever I needed advice. I think where she really shined was the day of. So if you’re considering it, at the very least sign her to be your day-of coordinator. I’m an extremely organized person, but on the wedding day I didn’t want to be running around. She was extremely professional and responsible throughout the whole day. Breanna was always one step ahead. I arrived at the church, she was already there waiting having organized the wedding party to walk down the aisle. Bus pulled up at the venue, Breanna was already there clipboard in hand. Reception started, Breanna was already next to me asking about my thoughts on the food and how things were going. Another thing — before I said it, she already did it. For example, I was worried my welcome sign didn’t get set up so I asked her. She pointed at the sign. She had already set it up. I was worried about vendors knowing about a change of location. Breanna had already updated every single one of them via email days ago. I was worried about whether I signed the right vendors. Breanna vetted every single one. And they all nailed it on the day of. Like I cried tears of joy for over my photographer and florist and how phenomenal they were. Hear me out. I’ll be the first to admit I have trust issues and I am the person who is very much like “I’d rather do it myself because I know it will get done and get done well. So I’ll just do it.” But girly pop, you can’t do it all. And you shouldn’t have to. Enjoy this moment. Breanna is the planner you can trust. Believe her when she says she’ll do it. Know she will do well. For the first time, I could close my eyes, take a deep breath, and know I had nothing to worry about.”

“We had the absolute best experience with Jamie as our day-of wedding coordinator! From the very first meeting, she helped us stay organized and gave us the confidence that everything would run smoothly. On the wedding day itself, things didn’t exactly go as planned, it ended up pouring during our outdoor ceremony (we’re talking over an inch of rain in just half an hour!) moving everything under the tent. Even in the middle of all that chaos, Jamie and her team handled it with such calm professionalism. She was literally soaking wet from walking us and the bridal party to under the tent for the ceremony. Her team also did a fantastic job with the styling and décor. We had a few last-minute changes, but everything still came together beautifully. Since our wedding was at our home (not a traditional venue), I know it made her job more challenging, but you would have never known. I honestly can’t say enough good things about Jamie and her team. They made our day perfect, even under very imperfect weather conditions. If you’re looking for someone who is organized, reliable, and willing to go above and beyond, I would 100% recommend Louisa Co. Events.”
