“We worked with Sarah Rosier, proprietor of Sleeping Bee Designs, for our wedding in May 2025 at Attaboy Barrel House in Frederick, MD and the experience was absolutely fantastic! Without hesitation, we would recommend Sarah and her team to any couple getting married in the DMV area. Our wedding faced weather complications at the last minute, but because of Sarah’s planning, coordination, relationships with vendors, and upbeat attitude, the day turned out even better than we had dreamed! We met with Sarah for monthly planning sessions, and she was always willing to be flexible if we needed to reschedule or meet for longer than planned. We knew what general vibe we wanted for our wedding, but did not have a specific theme or vendors in mind. Based on her years of experience in the business, Sarah recommended 3-4 vendor options to us for each category that fit our vision and budget, and all of whom were used to working with one another and with Sarah, so they were able to pull off a flawless event! In the end, we made the final vendor decisions based on her recommendations, but her recommendations totally removed the guesswork for us. We never, ever felt as if we were being pushed in any one direction; rather, we always felt that Sarah had our best interests at heart. Sarah has a great memory and is very organized, so she helped keep us on track and made sure there were no loose ends. The master to-do list template she provided kept us on task and helped us break up larger tasks in a manageable way. She was also conscious of our budget throughout the process, foresaw logistical issues ahead of time to save us time and money, and helped suggest places where we could reasonably cut costs (as well as emphasizing to us which places required *not* cutting corners on cost to ensure a seamless event). One important value of hiring Sarah is her relationship with vendors in the area, and ability to communicate with them on the couple’s behalf. This made it so much easier to plan and saved us time. Sarah creates a detailed timeline for the wedding day and takes care of coordinating it with vendors and staff to ensure everyone is on task and on the same page about how the day will go. She was also excellent at communicating with our wedding party. Everything went so smoothly on the actual day! We also contracted with Sarah for our flowers/decor. We told Sarah we wanted to spend less money on this element and adhere to minimalist decoration, and Sarah identified a really fun and colorful approach using growlers, bunny tails, and candles. We loved the way it looked on the day! Finally, we were blown away by how Sarah handled the last minute challenges involved when the weather looked like it wouldn’t cooperate. We had planned to do our ceremony outdoors, but needed to make a rain call 48 hours in advance. Prior to the rain call, Sarah had already marshaled our vendors together to talk through contingencies, drafted an alternate schedule, and put together a decoration plan for our indoor ceremony location. We felt so taken care of and the extra effort helped make us feel comfortable with changing plans last minute. Our wedding party and family members even keep talking about how amazing she was to work with. Sarah is the best at what she does! Thank you, Sarah!”

“Margo did makeup for my bridesmaids, my mother/mother-in-law, and hairmakeup for myself. I couldn’t have been happier with the results and be grateful to Margo and her team, especially since she had to work in a small space packed with very energetic and boisterous gals. She respectfully listens to all of our requests, and moved throughout the getting-ready timeline with a calm, collected, and stress-free aura. She was also able to squeeze in another bridesmaid who was amazed by Margos makeup talent. After we parted ways with Margo and headed to the venue, i became incredibly carsick. The following 3 hours, I spent it face down on the grass or lying on the bathroom floor. When it was go time, we were all dumbfounded that i did not require any retouching- hair and makeup stayed exactly the same to when Margo worked her magic on me. The hair stayed in place all night (i did lay on the ground every hour or so in between the reception lol) and so did my face (even after all the happy tears) I am so grateful and appreciative of Margo and her talent!!! I want to emphasize that these pictures are without any retouching, and AFTER IVE BEEN ROLLING AROUND ON THE GROUND.”

“My wife and I attended a wedding at Caboose Farm this past weekend and were extremely impressed. We own an event hosting company and tend to have a hard time just enjoying events for this reason, but this place changed that. Couple bullet points from an industry professional: - Attention to detail 5 star. See photos of the NAPKIN FOLDS! Been in the industry over 30 years and thought I had seen it all but a suit jacket with boutineer folded from a napkin? Bride had a bouquet of flowers with flower made from a napkin folded in. Bravo. Above and beyond. - Bathrooms 5 star. People under appreciate bathrooms. This place was not only clean but the staff was very on top of supplies and cleaning. Impressive display of pride in their venue. - The facility itself was possibly once a bank barn. Today it is a two story Mountain Lodge, Ski Chalet sort of vibe, with Flagstone, refurbished raw wood beams, richly stained hardwood furnishings and a traditional pub style bar. 5 star again. - The food was outstanding which was also unexpected given how far out we were. No offense to rural venues but many provide bare bones and its almost always just BBQ. Not this place. 5 star plus. Extra nod to the staff for knowing the ingredients so well for my gluten allergic wife. It should be noted that this venue prepared for and hosted this wedding of around 100 guests, with only a week notice from what we understand. Our friend's daughter's original venue had burst frozen pipes resulting in a scramble to find a new place. This Caboose Farm made an amazing day with moments notice. Speaks even greater volumes of them. Whatever it cost - the money was well spent. 5 stars all around.”

Caboose Farm is a beautiful, rustic wedding venue located in Sabillasville, Maryland (just north of Frederick, MD) that blends beautiful scenery with convenient accommodations. Located in close proximity to Baltimore; Washington, D.C.; and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, the venue offers a charming 220-acre space with access to attractions such as golf, wineries, and hiking. Its scenery also provides a beautiful backdrop for events, with scenic wedding sites to choose from, countryside barn, and pastoral farms and pastures. “When we started planning we wanted our day to be as stress-free as possible and fun so Attaboy was an easy choice. There was so much I loved about the venue, but here are some top considerations: Location/logistics- It was so easy to get everything and everyone to the venue and our guests loved how easy walking or parking was. Other vendors also expressed appreciation that they were able to get in earlier in the day and that it was easy to get to. Since it is off the creek, the outside area felt more intimate. There are also lots of cute areas to take pictures in the venue and just steps away. Aesthetics- the venue was beautiful! The simplicity of the set up really made our florals pop. They provided tables and seating which were perfect with our design. The whole space lends itself to so many different design possibilities. Also, since it is very cute/clean as it, we didn't need to go overboard with decor. Service- Anna was a huge help throughout the entire process. She made me feel confident that everything would run smoothly. She was also quick to address questions/needs. The day of the event all of the staff were wonderful. They were so friendly and fun!”

“Christopher, an attorney in NY- NJ and I, a Chiropractor in the Virgin Islands, are very busy with our careers. We are an outdoor venue on a pollinator farm. You will enjoy stunning views of rolling hills, wide open space, and big skies. Our two acre pollinator field and wildflower ruins are sure to inspire frolicking. Our pricing includes a reception tent and a luxury bathroom trailer. We offer table decor and florist service as an add on. Picture sparkling quartz, electric candles, fairy lights, and our incredible zero waste flowers that we grow in our gardens. Illusions Weddings is a photography team. Michelle graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelors Of Fine Art In Photography in 1999. While living in CA she worked for a Hollywood Photo studio for 4 yrs. Upon moving to Colorado she worked at a wedding and portrait studio. Angela is a self taught photographer. In her youth she dabbled in modeling. This taught her posing, angles and finding the light. She is a classically trained visual artist in many mediums. Through that she learned to understand human form. 15 years ago she opened a face and body painting business and added photography shortly after.

“Maryland National was the PERFECT venue for our wedding! From the very beginning, Reghan and the whole team were incredible. Reghan went above and beyond to help us plan everything – she was so easy to work with and always had the best recommendations. I loved how easy it was to communicate with her through email. We got married at our church, but had the reception at Maryland National. They even let us use the club to get ready since our church didn't have a space! The girls got ready upstairs, and the guys used the locker rooms, which was amazing for getting-ready photos. Plus, the food was delicious! What we loved most was that we didn't have to set up or clean up anything – Maryland National took care of it all. We didn't even have to take decorations home the night of the wedding! We could pick them up the next day. It was the most perfect day, and we can't thank Reghan and the staff enough. Seriously, if you're looking for an amazing venue, this is it!”
