I've had a camera in my hand since I was at least ten years old. Photography has always been something I've been passionate about. I was the friend that captured all the memories in high school. Once I got older, and more interested in this becoming something real, I decided to start my business in 2018. I've had the pleasure of working with the most loving clients ever since.
I'd say I have a detailed and specific way that I work, you're not just staring at my camera and smiling on your wedding day you're having FUN with me, we're laughing and talking and vibing, we're living in the MOMENT. So much so that taking photos don't feel like a chore you have to do throughout the day, it's something that's happening while you're LIVING the day and FEELING the day. I don't want you to feel like photography is a chore, because it's not. You're not just another client, or just another number to me. Your individual story being documented in a REAL way, means everything to me.

So happy we worked with Kay!
Kay was a joy to work with- from the beginning she was friendly and responsive and I appreciated that her process was clear and organized (I know that takes effort as a small business). We booked her for an elopement package- a courthouse ceremony. Even with it being a smaller package, she looked at my inspiration photos, helped me think through the timing, and even made suggestions for my then fiancé’s outfit when we were trying to figure out the right level of formality. I felt like she went above and beyond. On the day of she was great with my family, and kept us laughing during our couple’s shots. And the pictures beautiful! I’m obsessed with them and can’t choose what to print. My husband says we look like we’re on a magazine cover. Highly recommend!

10/10 service for wedding
Great experience with Kay as our wedding photographer. Her website and process is very seamless when booking with her she allows time to meet and talk so she can get a feel for you and what you are looking for. I enjoy that the website has pricing! When you start wedding planning and dealing with vendors having upfront pricing is very convenient. A couple times to touch point before the wedding was helpful, and then day of everything went as smooth as possible. She is very personable and sweet. Her assistant she had working with her was great as well. Delivered all items with the timeline she said. Even my family/friends commented how much they enjoyed the photographer. I would highly recommend her for weddings!

We are beyond grateful that we chose Kay from Sharp Impressions Photo to capture our wedding day. From start to finish, Kay was absolutely incredible—professional, organized, creative, and so easy to work with. Kay has a special talent for making everyone feel relaxed in front of the camera. She guided us through poses without anything feeling forced, and she captured candid moments we didn’t even realize were happening. Looking through our gallery felt like reliving the day from beginning to end. The photos turned out stunning—beautiful colors, amazing lighting, and a perfect mix of emotional, fun, and artistic shots. She captured the tiny details, the big moments, and everything in between with such care and intention. Amazing photographer start to finish!
Kay was absolutely amazing from start to finish! When booking, she has you fill out a questionnaire about you and your partner and it added such a personalized touch. Her style and location guides were super helpful and we were able to go to our preferred location (The Walters Art Museum), which she was really familiar with- this made the whole process once on site even smoother. From the first photo she was warm, fun, and created a relaxed environment that made posing a breeze. My fiance hates having his photo taken and he said halfway through “Wow this is easy!” We got our preview the next day (!!!) and our full gallery (over 100 images!) within 2 weeks. They are all beautifully shot and edited and some are even on film which is just stunning. I would recommend Kay again and again!

Like a dream come true
From beginning to end, Kay with Sharp Impressions Photography has impressed us. We had a wonderful time getting to know Kay professionally as we began the booking process, completing our engagement shoot and the planning leading up to our big day; Kay takes a lot of time to make sure we both knew what to expect and anticipate, this made us both feel at ease enough to relax into and enjoy the day we were experiencing and allow us to forget the cameras were on us while at the same time, excited to see what was captured behind the lens; and boy oh boy!; we're we not just satisfied - but elated - with the results Sharp Impressions Photography delivered to us. We couldn't be more grateful to Kay and Cameron for all of their hard work and would 500% book with them again if we had to do it over!
