“My fiancé, Rica, and I didn’t originally plan on having our wedding and reception at Bay Pointe. We hadn’t looked at any place that far away, 1 hour from home. Two weeks before the wedding our original venue had a fire and we had to scramble to find a new location. Mariesa Colavincenzo, the Catering Sales Manager at Bay Pointe, came to our rescue. With her and her staffs’ help we were able to pull off a miracle and have a beautiful wedding using part of the restaurant and the deck, looking out on the lake… a perfect backdrop for our vows and the reception. Everyone remarked about how beautiful the setting was and also how wonderful the food was. We had 2 appetizers and a 3-entry buffet that was absolutely delicious! I had the bridal suite rented for the day, and she was there first thing to greet me with a smile and then stayed all the way until the end helping us pack everything up. She easily spent 16 hours making sure every detail was handled so my husband and I did not have to stress for a single second. Eva is the perfect mix of fun, kind and refreshingly candid. She told me exactly what to expect throughout the day so there were no surprises, no confusion and zero stress. She kept everything running smoothly without ever feeling overbearing or rushed. “A fantastic venue doesn’t cover it. The whole back of the ballroom’s floor to ceiling windows overlooking a gorgeous lake, makes for a serene backdrop to any occasion. Whether you get married outdoors with a stunning, natural backdrop, or in the intimate and chic ceremony space, you are going to have a beautiful place to say I do. The staff is warm, inviting and helpful. The food is absolutely delicious. And a large bridal suite that is cozy and spacious, with a 12 hr window of rental time?! Ok! I’m sold.”
