We couldn’t have picked a more perfect venue than Il Mercato. From the moment we first walked in, we knew it was something special—the charm, the character, and the unique New Orleans vibe are unmatched. The space itself is absolutely stunning. The exposed brick, string lights, and open-air courtyard create such a romantic yet fun atmosphere. It struck the perfect balance between elegant and lively, and it truly set the tone for our entire wedding. Our guests were blown away and couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful and unique the venue was. What really stood out, though, was how seamless everything felt. House of Broel was built as a story and a half family dwelling in 1850 in the Garden District of New Orleans. In 1884 the family decided they needed room for weddings and parties so they had the house lifted, making it a two and a half story mansion that we use today for events as they did back centuries ago. The Victorian style makes for the perfect romantic setting for your wedding, as well as the enjoyment of being on historic Saint Charles Avenue with its access to many five star hotels and the Street Car line.

  • Provides setup and cleanup

Venue considerations

  • No on-site guest accommodations
  • Not for you if you are drawn to more unconventional venues
I was so happy to have been able to have given my niece the best day of her life. I had the honor of walking her down the aisle, since her father passed away. Thanks to House of Broel the evening was everything she dreamed of. The outside garden setting was so romantic. The highlight of the evening was my uncle age 94 on the dance floor for his last dance in life. My niece said it was so much fun having her family and friends all dancing in the iconic ballroom. Great DJ! The whole staff made us feel welcome and relaxed. I highly recommend this venue. It was a true New Orleans experience

Chateau LeMoyne - French Quarter, A Holiday Inn Hotel Is an affordable venue for an intimate venue that will comfortably hold 75-80 guests. Our experience was fantastic from the start. I had no clue what I was doing but requested info from venues on the Knot. This venue was by far the most professional, their info “packet” isn’t a pdf… it’s a website! They were by far the most affordable venue. The space rental includes tables, chairs, high top tables, etc. (which is something you may find you have to ask about the hidden cost of). They contract with Messina’s Catering & Events and our Catering Manager Lauren was a dream to work with! Below I share, a portion of the email I sent to her and Lizzy, the Sales Manager at the venue: “Thank you again for a wonderful wedding weekend! I cannot tell you both what an amazing time we had. We got so many compliments about the venue and the food. Multiple people told us that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. Knowing that we chose not to do a lot of normal wedding traditions and kind of just did our own thing.... I think that really comes down to how beautiful the venue was, how great the food was, and how wonderful all the staff were to all of our guests. Everyone from the valet to the front desk staff, the servers and bartenders, the setup crew, and both of you! Lizzy was so right about the Second Line, I loved it more than I thought I would, and our guests are still raving about it multiple days later. And Lauren you were so supportive of all of our ideas and I truly think I would have gone crazy without you!” Without a doubt one of the best decisions we made was to have our wedding at Chateau LeMoyne! There was plenty of space in our suite to get ready and to get some beautiful shots. Our Photographer: https://jblanchardphoto.com/ who I also highly recommend. Jordan and Steven are the best! I swear my mother and sister had to insist that they take a break and eat!!
