While there he learned everything there is to know about baking. Then, in 1946, he and my mother-in-law, Grace, opened their own bakery on Diversey Avenue in Chicago – Slove Bakery. Their goal was to produce great quality desserts and provide excellent customer service: he did the baking; she the handshaking. We offer over 30 flavors of gourmet popcorn in either personalized packet size, or in bulk for popcorn bars. Any of our stocked flavors are available, and we can order many flavors that we don't normally carry to suit you. Our popcorn is perfect for reception snacks, wedding favors, bridal shower favors, or gift bags for your out of town guests. We can also custom color our popcorn to match your wedding colors, or do custom mixes like the always popular and delicious "Chicago Mix."
