“I had such a wonderful experience having our wedding at Summit. Everything from the first visit to the ceremony was smooth and well done. The owners Russel and Leta are amazing, down to earth people and their whole family helps out with the wedding process. They are so kind, companionate, and really welcoming to their property. Being an all inclusive venue..Becca (the planner who is also so so sweet!!) will walk you through everything you need to start planning and connects you with all the vendors, gives recommendations, as well as works with your coordinator (Susan) to have your wedding be the night of your dreams. The decorator and bartender, Sam, has the most wonderful personality and really knows how to set a table and the mood to keep guests happy. Everyone whom i dealt with was inviting, warm and accommodating to any and every need we had; even going out of their way for a few. This family is the ideal need for any kind of wedding or special event you could ask for. They have just about everything to make your vision come to life with how you want your reception to look and be. So many decor options to choose from and even a Pinterest board to visualize it. The pictures definitely doesn't do this venue justice with how beautiful and amazing it truly is. From the mountain view to the draped barn; it really is breath taking. I chose October to have the leaves changing for my photos and was blown away by how beautiful it all was cast against the blue mountains when i walked up day of. Believe me when i say it definitely is a sight to see in person. Other things include: being handicapped accessible, aiding those who need it to get to the barn from the connecting gravel parking area, lawn games to play while the couples are taking photos, four different bathrooms connected to the barn, patio and smoking areas, and plenty of open room for dancing, rental house on site for wedding party/family (which is also a gorgeous little home). I cannot express how thankful i am to have found and had the pleasure of having my wedding at Summit Farms. I highly recommend this venue. The kindness, surrounded by family and feeling like they're your own, to the amazing views, to the awesome look of the barn and property.. Thank you so much again for hosting the Connoles.”

“Joel with Loud Lion Live Entertainment was absolutely amazing to work with for our wedding! From the very first consultation call we had with him, we could tell he was the person we wanted to work with. One of my questions for him during that first call was if I provide a list of music and songs that I want to hear, will you use that or will you play your own mixes and playlists that you typically use? He said the more information I provide him with the better. I made a playlist with more songs than could be played in one night and Joel used my playlist exclusively. He even played a not common song from our playlist that is special to my husband and I, which was one of the highlights of our night! His professionalism and self-awareness was great too. He moved out from behind the DJ booth during our first dance as it was centered behind where we were being photographed and videoed, so everything captured from that moment only has us in them. I also requested the music be played at a moderate volume all night so people could still have conversations with each other without yelling, which he did perfectly (my ears have been blasted at other weddings I have attended and did not want the same experience for my guests). Joel helped make our wedding reception such a special night and one we will never forget. We highly recommend using Loud Lion Live Entertainment for your DJ!”

“Patrick was fantastic!! As I was doing research on videographers, I came across Patrick and his team. I fell in love with his art style, and I was so excited that we were able to schedule him. I was appreciative beforehand for the attentive emails and responses to questions. He was very quick to respond to us. The day of he did a great job at adapting to a few hiccups during our wedding (weather, timing, things out of our control), and still made us feel comfortable throughout the stress of the day. One thing we asked Patrick before we hired him was if he could send us our highlight video somewhat speedy because we wanted to show it for another wedding reception we were having. We were grateful he was able to! He sent us the video a day before our reception, and my husband and I cried watching it. My husband caught me watching it several times once we got it. It was so beautiful. My dad told me that it was worth every penny, and several people who have seen it said it was the best wedding video they've ever seen! One person said it reminded them of the ending of "The Bachelor" when the couple finally gets together! Talk about quality video and story telling! If I were to sum up the style of our video from Luxe Filmography I would say "Extravagant Modern Fairytale." What more could you want for your wedding day? One touch I especially liked was Patrick suggested that we write letters to each other to exchange before the wedding, and it made for some beautiful story telling in our film. If you are hesitant about getting a videographer I promise you won't regret getting one. And if I were to recommend a videographer it will always be Luxe Filmography. I told Patrick that if we ever do a vow renewal we will 100% ask him to film it for us.”

“We absolutely loved using The Barn at Sunrise Farms for our wedding! The Venue is gorgeous and has everything you need even equipped with a kitchen in the upstairs bridal suite which is nice when you’re spending the majority of the day there. The downstairs area was perfect for our reception and it was absolutely beautiful with their gorgeous farmhouse tables. The outdoor ceremony set up made for a beautiful backdrop as we said our vows. “I am so happy that I randomly found Christina on the website as my photographer. Not only is Christina professional organize and dedicated to her brides. She’s also so kind, loving and encouraging all the way up from the first meeting to the goodbyes at the reception. As a plus size bride I was really nervous about my photographs because I don’t tend to think I photograph well and I had shared that with Christina and she was so Encouraging and letting me know that she understood my concerns and had my back and would make sure that when I saw these pictures, I felt my most beautiful. And so far the sneak peaks that I’ve gotten she 100% came through on that. Christina also helped calm my mom down after my mom had lost some earrings for the wedding. She took charge and made sure that my mom got herself together so that we could move on with the day and I didn’t have to deal with the stress. And also kudos that she was able to wrangle every single family member and go through all the pictures that I wanted. I cannot speak highly enough of how creative inventive and beautiful Christina’s pictures are. I would not have even thought to have done some of the poses that she had us do and when I looked back at the pictures, I’m amazed. “Such a beautiful venue! My day of coordinator, Rachel, made everything SOOO easy and helped me with ANYTHING I needed! I don’t think the day would’ve gone off as smoothly as it did without her! They do provide a list of preferred vendors, which makes it A LOT easier to book vendors instead of searching for them yourself. They do the majority if not all of the heavy lifting for you! The venue is ABSOLUTELY stunning too! From the ceremony space to the bridal cabin, it was just overall such a beautiful place; I’m STILL getting compliments on the venue! “I chose Hailey from the moment we had our initial call to talk through her services. She listened so well to our wedding vision & asked thoughtful questions. We were forgoing a wedding coordinator & other “extras.” Hailey was still excited to take us on as clients which some photographers would not have. I was ready to confirm during the call with how supportive and excited she sounded about our day. From this call, she sent over her proposal for cost & information very quickly. She was responsive via text & email to any questions we had. Closer to the date, she sent over a questionnaire so she could be prepared with the photos we wanted. It also included tips & guidance on making sure the experience is smooth. This was super helpful. During the wedding, I was blown away by her and her second shooter. She was decisive when we needed someone to make a decision, supportive to me as a bride, went above and beyond to handle any last minute changes or hiccups with grace. My husband and I had never had professional photos taken. She made it sooo easy and fun! The photos are sooo creative and I continue to pinch myself that they are ours! Wow! Here’s where she deserves to be shouted from the rooftops: We scheduled a hike we wanted photographed to a waterfall on site at the venue (our venue at Hawkesdene in NC lodges all guests for 2 nights). The venue shared it was 1 mile in/out and not difficult. Well it HAILED the night before and rained all night so the path was flooded and muddy. We had to decide to forge ahead or cancel. She without hesitation was ready to forge ahead, ruining her shoes, to ensure we could still have our hike documented with our guests. She encouraged me along the way and I am so grateful because the photos are just incredible. Anyone would be truly lucky to have Hailey capture their wedding. This review doesn’t do her or her skills justice. I will forever cheer her on & can’t wait to find an opportunity to work with her again in the future.”

“Rose Hall Event Center was the absolute best wedding venue for our special day. The communication style from the owners was fantastic - they started with email but as we got closer to the date, they initiated a group text so we could connect directly with our day-of coordinators. The quality of their work and value was phenomenal. The venue had plenty of space, great inclement weather preparations, and almost all of the vendors were included or worked in-house. They checked in on us constantly, guarded us so we could eat during the reception, and made sure everything went smoothly throughout the wedding. I would highly recommend Rose Hall to anyone getting married soon - the owners and staff are so sweet and professional, and this is truly the best wedding venue we could have asked for!”
