Summit Farm Weddings is a charming rustic wedding venue in Ellijay, Georgia. This beautiful venue offers outdoor church pews with a panoramic view of the north Georgia mountains, as well as a rustic barn with ample space for guests. Whether you envision a ceremony outdoors with breathtaking mountains as a backdrop or dining under chandeliers behind barn doors, this property provides the ideal setting for affordable and memorable wedding events.

This family-owned cattle farm and facility provides beautiful indoor and outdoor areas to accommodate a maximum of 125 wedding guests. Outdoor ceremonies can be held in a green space overlooking the scenic north Georgia mountains. Indoor ceremonies and receptions can be held in a gorgeous barn, which is complete with a stage and dance floor. This venue provides a get-ready suite and den for the wedding party’s use on the big day.

Our most economical option, the Micro Package is perfect for weddings of 50 guests or fewer. Available Monday–Thursday from March–November and any day December–February, it includes all décor and vendors found in our full packages. Enjoy 3 hours of pre-ceremony access for rehearsal, getting dressed in bridal suite and grooms den, and photos, plus 4 hours for your ceremony and reception. Pricing is based on 30–50 guests; inquire for smaller celebrations. Let us help create your dream wedding day.

Most magical night of my life
Summit Farm Weddings exceeded all of our expectations. From the very first interaction, their communication was fast, efficient and incredibly friendly. The team went above and beyond to customize every little detail, making our wedding day feel truly personal and special. The quality of their work was nothing short of amazing - the venue was absolutely beautiful and unique, and they seemed to anticipate our every need before we even knew we had them. Summit Farm Weddings was an absolute dream venue for our special day. From the moment we stepped onto the gorgeous family-owned property, we felt like part of the family. The staff were so warm, caring, and attentive, checking in on us throughout the day to ensure we had everything we needed. They took care of all the little details, allowing us to simply relax and enjoy the breathtaking scenery and large, easy-to-navigate event spaces. Best view in North GA
Summit Farm Weddings was an incredible venue for our wedding. The team there is extremely professional and communicative - they were always quick to respond to our questions and concerns, and their straightforward yet empathetic approach put us at ease throughout the planning process. On the day of the wedding, when a light drizzle started just before the ceremony, they immediately distributed blankets for our guests' seats and had clear umbrellas ready to go within seconds. It was clear they had worked together for a long time and could anticipate our needs before we even had to ask. We felt like we got so much more value than we paid for - the quality of their service and the beautiful, well-maintained grounds exceeded our expectations. We're so grateful to the Summit Farm Weddings team for helping make the day special and perfect.

Just about perfect
Working with the team at summit was absolutely wonderful! They were super organized and super helpful! I had some pretty specific things I wanted when it came to music and the reception and this team made it happen so flawlessly!! DJ did an amazing job. Food and drink service was wonderful. The whole team was so sweet and kind. The decor they have available is so pretty and it made it so much easier to not have to DIY everything. Arrival in the morning was smooth sailing they set up all the stuff we brought in as well as the stuff from their decor that we picked out. So many guests came up to me to tell me this was the smoothest run wedding they had ever been to! The views were amazing and overall experience was positive. I was in tears at the end of the night because I was so happy with how it turned out. My only complaints are 1) with the florist we got put with. I thought we were extremely clear on what colors the wedding was and what she created was way off. I tried to be happy about them but I just really wasn’t pleased, but I wasn’t about to let this dim the magic of the day. 2) having the rehearsal the morning of the wedding. It delayed us getting ready and that delayed the amount of time we had for pictures. I basically missed all the time for portraits for myself and my family photos were so rushed we didn’t have time to get what we wanted. It broke my heart when we got our wedding photos back it reminded me of how much we missed because the venue time was so short. 3) we felt rushed during portraits after the ceremony, then to find out we were 15 minutes ahead of schedule later on. It worked out on one hand because my dress bustle took a while but we missed out on many of the poses and second shooting location for my husband and I because of this. Again looking back at our photos I am sad to have missed this opportunity. 4)I do wish they would allow an extra hour for the reception, the dancing portion of the night was pretty short and it bums the guests out when last call is announced shortly after starting.

I want to thank you for taking time to review us and for letting us know the things you were most happy with as well as the things we can improve on. We appreciate every single compliment and are happy your guests enjoyed their day as well. Wedding days are a whole experience, and we strive to make it a great experience from start to finish. I did realize that the florist had some brighter colors than you wanted, so I went through and put darker colors in your aisle flowers. We wanted you to be happy with every single detail. We work hard to ensure everything goes as smoothly as possible. During October & November it’s simply necessary to have same day rehearsals because we have weddings back to back several days in a row. But we will certainly take into consideration having a few ladies in the bridal suite getting ready even if rehearsal is happening. We often do separate rehearsals throughout the day to be sure everyone is comfortable. We take to heart all feedback and use it to better ourselves. So thank you for your honesty. Your photographer was not from our preferred list, so I’m very sorry that you felt rushed through pictures. That is not usually the case, but I’m hoping you loved the pictures she captured for you. This I know for sure, you were a BEAUTIFUL bride!! You guys got your dream!….to dance outside under the stars which was so amazing!! We loved it!! Our team thought your wedding was amazing and definitely one of our favorites of the year with all your special touches! And we are honored that you chose us at Summit Farm to host your beautiful wedding. Thank you again and know that we take all your words to heart. We truly wish you guys so much happiness!
