The Pines was absolutely the right move for us. The location was perfect. It was 10 degrees cooler than in Denver so was perfectly comfortable in the summer. The location was beautiful. The Evergreen terrace felt intimate but grand. The upper reception space was the same. The day of coordinators Morgan and Claire were PHENOMENAL. They worked with all of my DYI/creative touches with a "let's make it work attitude". They took everything so seriously and acted quickly when there was a concern. I did not worry about things happening correctly on my day... let that sink in. The plated meals were pretty darn good for wedding food. We received nothing but compliments. We brought in mostly our own vendors, which was the right choice for us. The only hiccup was with their affiliated DJ. From the DJ, we would've appreciated a bit better communication before, listening to our limitations and boundaries, and attention to details. The day was still magical overall. And the Pines made that ideal. At the end of the night and our scheduled uber was there we didn't want to leave. Claire handled it. Suddenly the uber was gone, another was coming in 30 minutes and we got those last 30 minutes with our guests. Overall, would highly recommend the Pines. They are dedicated to making your day special and they will work with you for that to happen.

Once upon a time there was the most perfect wedding venue called The Oaks - from the staff to the service, the grand foyer, the suites, the food, the drinks, the party....just....1,000%. If you are thinking about booking it, please do snag that date ASAP as they become fully booked. It's not their fault they're so popular... I got married recently and was lucky enough to snag our date for 2025 in the summer of 2024, and things could not have been more perfect from the initial visit with ALEX LEIGH until the very last sendoff. Alex, (you rock!!!!!) our coordinator, was the one who helped all of our dreams come true.. She was truly the heart and soul of our wedding day and the fairy godmother of weddings. Forgot a lint brush? She has it. Bobby pins? Check. Don't know how to fill out your wedding license or where to stand at the ceremony? Yes she can do that too. At one point in the night she delivered me champagne and even helped me adjust and bustle my dress. Hello- this girl has it all. Alex literally coached us throughout so we could make the day as flawless as possible. Nothing was ever too much and she has the patience of a saint throughout the entire planning process, she was a dream to work with. For a bride who planned her entire wedding herself, who thought she thought of everything, ALEX was the one who was one step ahead of my Type A behind that night!! She truly never ever missed a beat for a good 15 months of our planning process. She had wonderful recommendations from decor to vendors (they have an amazing list of preferred vendors), to in-house food. From the very beginning, her friendly and approachable demeanor made planning feel so easy and enjoyable. She always made time to answer questions, offered thoughtful suggestions, and made sure every little detail was handled perfectly. I also appreciated the thoughtful service the Oaks provided. An A staffing group helps your day go smoothly with packing and unpacking your car, they truly delivered white glove service which was highly valued and fairly priced. ZANDER particularly stuck out to all of us offering golf cart rides down the hill for some guests to serving us appetizers when we sat down because we had missed them. Literally he was always so smiley and nice, I just appreciated the entire staff so much that day. They should be praised!! The day's timeline ran seamlessly, every vendor was exactly where they needed to be, and the entire day flowed effortlessly thanks to their impeccable organization and calm, confident presence. At our tasting earlier this year, Luna Justin and Anna were also sooo welcoming! Staff and leadership are amazing!! It's getting harder and harder to find exceptional service in 2025 but the Oaks nails it. Chef Rhett also delivered incredible food for us all, the gouda mac and cheese and steaks?! TO DIE FOR! Delicious! The place is a perfect blank slate to add your own flair and they will allow you to craft your dream day however you'd like! I felt completely at ease knowing Alex and team were managing everything behind the scenes, which allowed me to be fully present and just enjoy the day. Truly a class act, Alex combines professionalism, warmth, and top-tier management skills in a way that truly sets her apart. We love you Alex!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are a homeowner's association with a rental facility known as The Grange, which is located 30 minutes between Denver and CO Springs. Opened in 2004, The Grange seamlessly blends rustic charm with contemporary amenities. Central aspects include natural light, grand ceilings, a bar and prep kitchen, a covered patio with heating capabilities, and a perimeter of garage doors for a free-flowing indoor/outdoor concept. Renting with us is “DIY” - We provide the venue, plus some amenities, and you bring it to life (no required vendors). Please note we are NOT an all-inclusive venue and our rates are HOURLY. THE GOOD STUFF The Grange fit our needs really well for a 50 person baby shower. With the setup we chose, the room felt full but not crowded and allowed for ample room for people to move around. The fireplace added a nice atmosphere without making the room hot. The bathrooms and space were clean when we arrived. The Grange offers several table options which made it super easy for us to setup a kids zone, silent trivia area, and guest tables. Given that tables and chairs are included in the rental fee, it is fairly priced. A FEW BUMMERS While we wanted to have the garage doors open for an open-air feeling, it seemed that even the smallest bit of wind would knock over all of our decorations. Because we couldn't have the garage doors open, we did confine everything to indoors which changed our plans a bit with outdoor yard games as it wasn't super intuitive to go outside to the covered patio. We also would have liked to have been asked about the signage The Grange put outside. We had a co-ed baby shower but when we pulled up, the sign only listed the mother-to-be's name. Not a huge deal, but definitely could have been avoided. IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS A few things to note that may be important to you: 1. All setup, teardown, and cleaning is YOUR responsibility. So, if you don't want to haul tables and chairs, take out the trash, and mop the floor, this venue is not for you. (Note: We were made well aware of this prior to booking so it isn't a surprise but definitely a big consideration as it cuts into your rental time.) 2. The microphone works well for the main room but is very difficult to hear in the "back area" where the restrooms and food counters are. 3. When working on your budget, be sure to factor in the cost of getting event insurance as this is required and is an additional cost. (Again, we were made aware of this in advance so it wasn't a surprise.) 4. No table coverings/linens/tablecloths are provided so be sure you factor this into planning and your budget.
