I was the couple's photographer, and they handled videography, and though we only met the morning of the wedding, by the end of the day we had become such lovely friends. I have so many good things to say about their creative work (the video turned out stunning, and the rest of their portfolio is also gorgeous) and their presence (I have never had an easier time working with a videographer.) They had an uncommon knack for shifting between taking charge themselves and allowing me to direct the couple or their families, all the while exuding a sense of calm and control that put me, and I’m sure the couple, at ease. I often find that working with other vendors can be an intrusive or even combative process, where each is trying to vie to be the most important to the couple and which ultimately serves no one—the couple, me, or the vendor themselves— well. P&L are the antithesis of that. They are friendly, collaborative, and genuinely love their work, and it shows in how well they communicate and how much they dedicate themselves to the cause of documenting a couple’s big day in the best way possible.”

“A few things that stood out the most about Isaac were how responsive he was, how he was able to accommodate to our budget, and how he took pictures from angles and views that turned out great on the photos. As a couple with demanding careers, I much appreciated how quickly Isaac was with replying to emails. We had a pretty tight budget, and Isaac was able to offer us a package that landed pretty close to our budget and only had the items that we needed the most (mini engagement photoshoot for the website and wedding day). Our ask for him was to get some candid shots as we feel pretty awkward in front of the camera. I personally think that the wedding day pictures came out more naturally because of the setting being surrounded with friends and families, and Isaac and Sushen did a great job capturing the candid moments beautifully. Isaac even had an idea for me to pose by climbing up a wooden stair ladder for a shot that I honestly wasn't sure how it was going to turn out while doing it, but it ended up turning out beautiful and magazine-like in addition to other ones that he asked us to pose for. Isaac put together a behind the scenes video that also showed the reactions of guests to our photo place cards before we had entered the reception area, and this was lovely in that we got to see our guests' reactions that we weren't able to see.”

Photos are the one thing you keep from your wedding day (besides your memories!), and I am absolutely in love with the final photos! I love that our pictures are 100% in the moment and capture the real, raw emotions of everyone! “It was such a pleasure to have Grace as our photographer throughout this wedding journey. We had her shoot our engagement photos (which we loved!) in addition to our wedding. She was very communicative. From the very beginning, she was clear on pricing. She would always work with my schedule when setting up meetings to go over timelines. She even went over every photo with me after the engagement shoot to make sure that we’re all exactly what I was envisioning. On our wedding day she literally went above and beyond for us as well. She brought an assistant with her, as well as some great props and florals to be used in the photos. She did an amazing job sticking with my detailed timeline, getting photos at every location I wanted on property, and did a great job corralling our families during cocktail hour and giving firm and efficient directions so we could get the pictures quickly and they could get back to the fun.
