We had our wedding here, and were very happy with the experience. The venue is affordable, and included chairs and some tables. The policies were good (access times, alcohol, decor, parking). The venue is so pretty we didn't do a lot! Specifically: full day access, alcohol allowed with your own OLCC permitee, choose your own catering, chairs and some tables included, lights included, rehearsal dinner time included. Nearby ample parking. The location is close to some photo spots, and if you like the look you can do photos there (we did). There are nearby AirBnBs, plus Troutdale hotels. Some downsides: 2 bathrooms that are downstairs only. The stairs are narrow. This is not a venue that will be super accessible to those with walking disabilities because of that. Capacity of 80, but probably most comfortable for 50-70. There is no "getting ready" space.

The property is absolutely beautiful - with a rustic charm, open fields that made for stunning photos, and gorgeous mountain views. The in-house catering was phenomenal - every dish was fresh, flavorful, and received so many compliments from our guests. In particular, we loved the smoked brisket and strawberry rhubarb slab pie. The bar service was also a standout, with creative and unique drinks. From start to finish, the team at Trout Lake Hall went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly. Ray, the owner, was welcoming and kind; Dana, our coordinator, was very helpful; and Tiara absolutely nailed the florals—everything matched our vision perfectly and captured the exact vibe we were going for. We rented The Cave - their smaller outdoor venue - and it fit our vision for the day perfectly. It felt rustic and secluded without having to drive an hour outside of Portland, and it was simply gorgeous. We absolutely loved having our 55-person wedding at Bar Carlo. The owner Mel is at the same time very supportive and very low-key, which made for a smooth planning process and day-of event. The space is gorgeous, and has multiple connected wings, which allowed for the the party to morph seamlessly over the night from barside cocktail hour to outdoor patio ceremony to dinner buffet to dance floor. The space is already a beautifully decorated artwork, and Mel lets you decide how to arrange the space for your event, but you can also bring your own decorations/sound system/llama and she can handle those additions easily. The food and drinks were delicious too, and Mel was able to accommodate our entirely vegan and gluten-free menu without hesitation. Overall we loved the unique-ness, flexibility and good vibes of the space and the people of Bar Carlo, and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a cute and fun space for their wedding or other event. -Nicola & Lou

This was the most beautiful little church. Affordable, well-maintained, and so easy to make the space look gorgeous. We are not religious, but we just loved the inclusive atmosphere. To top it off, the staff were so friendly and kind!

Easton Broad

Portland, OR
  • Up to 150 guests

  • Starts at $2,400

Voted Oregon Wedding Day Magazine's Best Portland Wedding Venue in '24 and '25! Centrally located just blocks from the Moda Center, Easton Broad is an industrial-chic, city venue perfect for the modern couple. While we lean into the greenhouse vibes, with a collection of over 100 houseplants, this intimate venue is a blank canvas that can accommodate groups from 20 to 200. Hire your dream team of vendors or ask us for our personalized recommendations! Need a little more space? We can help you obtain the permits necessary to utilize the sidewalk, right outside our doors, for cocktail hour overflow. This will allow much more flexibility for ceremony to reception "flips" with a higher guest count, and is also a great option for food trucks.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Has a dance floor to dance the night away
  • Wheelchair accessible
  • Provides lighting and sound

Venue considerations

  • No on-site guest accommodations
  • Does not provide event staff
  • No in-house catering options
Hiring Easton Broad was hands down the best decision we made for our destination wedding! Planning a wedding from another state is no easy fete, but Kelly helped us with so much, we never had to worry about details being missed. We only ever saw the venue twice- first when we toured it and fell in love, and not again until our wedding day, when we fell in love all over again! And the time between, Kelly was so quick to answer all of our questions (and there were tons!); we'd get responses within an hour and sometimes even in the middle of the night. It's very clear that she's passionate about what she does, and has been doing this for a long time. We are so fortunate to have found Easton Broad and it will hold a very special place in our hearts for the rest of our lives. To Kelly and her entire team, thank you so much for caring and making our wedding day even better than we could have ever imagined!

My new wife Brandi and I LOVED Union Pine! It was a beautiful venue, and it had all the amenities we needed for the big day. Jess the venue manager was a pleasure to work with. We did the weekend package option for the venue and had the venue from Friday till Sunday. This was perfect for us because it allowed us to do the wedding rehearsal dinner at the same venue as the wedding. This helped us out a lot because we were planning this wedding from out of state. We visited a few venues in Portland, and this was by far the most breathtaking! Our out of state guests loved visiting Portland and enjoyed the venue's location to everything downtown.

The Victorian Belle was everything we dreamed of for our wedding and more. The mansion and gardens are absolutely breathtaking, magical, romantic, and full of flowers. During our ceremony, bunnies even popped out of the hedges to watch, which felt straight out of a fairy tale! The lighting in the reception tent was warm and enchanting, and the whole atmosphere made the day unforgettable. The staff were phenomenal from start to finish. They were kind, professional, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was stress-free. They set everything up for us, kept us on track with the timeline, and even brought drinks from the bar without us having to ask. Communication was excellent throughout the entire planning process — Diana, the coordinator, was the friendliest, most helpful person we could have hoped for, always quick to respond and endlessly accommodating. As a bride in a wheelchair, accessibility was a big concern for me, and I can’t say enough about how thoughtful and inclusive they were. They rearranged furniture to ensure ease of movement, set up the bridal suite on the ground floor so I could get ready comfortably, and made every adjustment possible to ensure my day was just as easy and beautiful as it would be for anyone else. That level of care meant so much. The catering, which comes with the venue, was absolutely divine. Guests raved that it was the best wedding food they’d ever had. The staff let us fully customize the menu, including vegan options for things that weren't listed as vegan, and everything was delicious. They even packed up leftovers for us to take home, which we loved. Flexibility was a huge strength of this venue. They let us customize décor, set up special tables for speakers and a memorial area, and made the whole day feel like it was truly ours. Our guests are still telling us it was the most beautiful wedding they’ve ever attended, and we couldn’t agree more. If you’re looking for a venue that’s gorgeous, affordable, accessible, and filled with caring, professional staff, I can’t recommend the Victorian Belle highly enough. They gave us the wedding of our dreams.
