We hired Mark to cater brunch for our wedding, and we were very impressed! He replies in a timely manner to questions, requests, and concerns. From the moment he reached out in response to my project on Thumbtack, Mark worked hard to accommodate our needs. He made sure that we felt good about the menu before we booked with them. Many of our guests made comments to us about how much they enjoyed the food, and everyone (about 130 people) had as much to eat as they wanted with food left over. My only regret was that as the bride I didn't have the chance to eat as much of that AMAZING French toast as I wanted!

We could not have chosen a better venue for our wedding! The ceremony lawn is absolutely gorgeous, and it was surreal to be married surrounded by lush flowers and towering bamboo. The reception space is beautiful and modern looking with beautiful lighting and an abundance of plants that make the area feel so warm and inviting. During the event and well after, our guests were gushing over how unique and picturesque our venue was! Our absolutely favorite part of the venue was working with Jonathan and Jessie! They are so down to earth, sweet and incredibly accommodating and felt like instant friends. If you are on the fence on hiring the Wedding Crashers, DO IT! They were a huge hit with our guests and now my husband and I are plotting ways to get some goats of our own! 10/10 Recommend having your wedding at The Brothers Ranch! You will have incredible pictures and beautiful memories that will last a lifetime!

Dawn was so incredibly wonderful for our 10-23-2025 wedding at Waterfall Lodge! We booked her a year and a half in advance and from the moment we booked with her, she was available and responsive. She worked with our schedules and took some of the wedding planning stress off of us. She even helped with recommendations on ways to save some money and utilize all vendors to our full potential. That’s just the planning part of it. Let’s get to the wedding day. From the very start of the rehearsal to the very end of the wedding day, Dawn was incredible. We had a crazy amount of extra people show up to the rehearsal itself who were not needed, but she guided everyone on where they needed to be despite all the extra commotion of extra family members wanting to be involved. The night before the wedding I went through all of my decorations and things that I had spent a lot of time crafting and creating with her and I just kind of spouted everything out all at once. Was I a little worried that she was just committing it all to memory and that my vision might not come to life? Yep. Should I have been worried? Not at all. She executed the vision I had with every little detail included to a tee. Seriously, she kept everything going smoothly. It all looked better than I had pictured it and I was in awe of her ability to keep things running so smoothly with so many different vendors. If there were things that went wrong, I have no idea because she not once gave me an inkling of any stress or anything. We even had a guest comment on how seamlessly she worked into the event. My favorite part of the day with Dawn comes to when we finally made it into dinner. We had ordered Chilis chips and salsa for cocktail hour as that’s where we met. At one point, Dawn came over with one whole bowl of chips and salsa (and sour cream because that’s my favorite) and plopped it onto our sweethearts table. It’s just all the small details that she took care of. It was one of my favorite parts of the day because it was so us. She was absolutely crucial in the best day of our lives and I cannot recommend her more. Thanks again for everything Dawn!

DJ Shazaam was incredible and absolutely made this event. He DJ’d a kids-and-parents Minecraft rave birthday party and created the perfect balance of fun for both children and adults. The dance floor was full the entire time. His mixes and mashups were playful, high energy, and age appropriate, and his professional setup sounded great in our dome space. When we were initially searching for wedding planners, it was immediately clear to us that the team at Paige Events stood head and shoulders above anyone else we interviewed. Paige A does an amazing job managing vendors (multiple of them came up to us after the wedding to tell us how much they liked working with her, and how great of a communicator she was) and ensuring that you can really relax and enjoy your wedding rather than worrying about logistical details. Our wedding had the additional challenge of being in an area with no cell reception (Big Sur) and Paige A did an amazing job managing logistics in this challenging environment, including arranging shuttles to transport 100 people for multiple events. The setting is spectacular. We had 80 guests who came from all over and we had a beautiful October evening wedding. We were married in the driveway overlooking the San Juan Valley and Gablan Mountains, had our reception in the courtyard, and dinner by the pool. We brought in our own vendors (caterers, dj, photographer, florist) and MVR was very accommodating - always there to help, but not in the way. Our guests really enjoyed the town of San Juan and access to the Monterey Penninsula. We made a weekend of it! Best day ever.

I have worked with Claire for over 8 years at multiple venues and seen her shine doing what she loves. There is not a single detail that will go unnoticed with her in charge. Weddings are second nature to her and she is careful to address all logistics beginning to end. Every couple who has hired her as a coordinator loves her and feels as if she is their best friend the day of. She goes above and beyond and will assist with everything she possibly can including (but not limited to) creating and following a sensible timeline, clear communication between vendors and couple family / wedding party, bustling dresses, bringing her emergency supply kit in case ANY unexpected incident should arise, and will manage the day without the client even knowing what is happening behind the scenes. I can't say enough positive things about Girls on Tap. They went above any beyond anything I could have ever expected and would absolutely use them again in any venue as they have the whole process so easy and stress free. Their drinks were top notch and amazing. Their service was exceptional and all my guests felt the same. Really I can't recommend this vendor enough. Please if you are in the Santa Cruz area you must give Girls on Tap a shot and I promise you will not be disappointed at all. Really I could consider them for many different occasions where you wish to have professional bartending service. We are so thrilled that we hired 831 Catering for our wedding! Joseph, Kimberly, and their team were so great to work with and the food was incredible! We had a small, backyard family wedding of about 50 people, and everyone was so happy with their meals. We interviews a couple of local caters, and we were very impressed with Joseph and his recommdations for a menu. We had a grazing board, seasonal salads, steak (best steak ever!), fish, veggie pasta, seasonal vegetables, mashed pototoes, and small desert cakes. Joseph and Kimberly were such great people and so fantastic to work with. They made our whole day stress free. They arrived with their own set up and we can't recommend them enough!
