So here it is. Short & sweet. My sister was expecting her third baby, she was in her third trimester and I decided to plan a baby shower because what the heck, every new baby deserves to be celebrated.

I am Deseree, owner/baker of Sweet Haven. I am a self-taught baker and have been baking for as long as I can remember. I'm a don’t skip dessert after dinner, give me anything sweet and chocolate, kind of girl. While I have always loved all things sweet, my true passion sparked when my son was born in 2018. I made a point to make everything from scratch and wanted to plan and bake for his first birthday. His desserts and cake for his special day went off without a hitch, and from that point on I have been baking and decorating ever since. I love being able to add something sweet to some of life’s biggest celebrations.

Kupkake Kouture Charlotte was established in 2012. Initiated out of the love of baking for children within the local school system. The owner, Shannon Reaves, decided that the love of baking needed to be extended out to the world. So, she did just that!!!
