    Creative, reliable, and collaborative

    I really enjoyed working with Chris leading up and on my wedding day. I had some specific ideas of what I wanted for my video and with his creative spin, he really helped bring them to life. He was super collaborative throughout the process and worked very well with the photographer on wedding day. He took all my edits and was able to quickly deliver a heart warming, memorable wedding video that exceeded my expectations.

    Captured our Day Perfectly

    Chris was amazing to work with. From the start, the pre-planning was super straightforward and gave us total confidence in what to expect. On the day, he worked seamlessly with our photographer - they felt like such a great team and made my fiance and I feel like celebrities for a day. The videos themselves blew us away. The framing, the balance of music and natural sound, and the way he captured the energy of the space (the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles) made it feel like we were right back at our wedding. The sounds quality in particular was unexpectedly amazing-vows, speeches, etc. The end product was cinematic yet tender and honest, and gave us a chance to see the day through our friends’ and families’ eyes. The finished video took a few months, but it was absolutely worth the wait. Reliving the day in this way has been such a gift, and we’re so grateful. Couldn’t recommend Chris more highly.

    Phenomonal from the beginning to the end result!

    My wife and I interviewed Chris to be our videographer for our small wedding. Not only was he very quick to respond to any and all inquiries from us, we felt he quickly understood the assignment in terms of what we wanted from our wedding videos and, most importantly, who we are as a couple. When the day of our wedding came Chris was amazing - he handled everything and we had one less thing to worry about that day! His integration into the events of the day was seamless and as the bride groom we weren't distracted by him so we could focus on ourselves. In addition Chris worked incredibly well with our other photographers and officiant to capture our moments. Fast forward to us receiving the final videos and we were floored! We opted for a few different edits of our video including a documentary-style edit and they were all perfect. This allowed us and our family to relive our special day as if it's happening all over again. The cinematography and technical aspects were amazing and Chris took amazing care with the edits themselves. The end products were perfectly paced, captured every moment, and were visually beautiful to look at. Thank you so much, Chris! You really nailed it for us and happy we went with you for our videographer!

    A Day That Can Be Relived

    When my husband and I received our wedding video we cried and watched it over and over again. It was absolutely amazing and emotional. Our video was more exceptional than we could have expected. You can tell Velarde Films puts in that extra amount of effort and care by picking the perfect song and style to tell our story. Velarde Films has helped us be able to relive that special day in a cinematic beautiful way. Chris was super professional and kind during the entirety of our day. Couldn’t have ask for a better videographer.

    Great team and video

    Chris and team were fantastic to work with. They basically just blended in for the entire duration of the wedding. After the night was over, Chris did his thing to create three incredible videos. We bought the social media, documentary, and standard wedding video. Have no regrets and everything turned out amazing! Highly recommend.
