    Beautiful venu- subpar coordinator

    My husband and I got married here in December of 2025. The ballroom space is nice, my only complaint is that the lights were unable to be dimmed and it was SO bright during the reception til they turned the DJ lights on and the overhead lights off. This kind of killed the vibe for me and I wish I would have known about it beforehand. Now, our main complaint is the staff member in charge of wedding coordination at the tremont- Ashley Gaters . We were planning the wedding from out of state, so email communication was crucial (TBH - email communication is ALWAYS crucial when you are planning a wedding!) She once failed to respond to my email for up to 3 weeks, and I eventually had to have my wedding coordinator reach out to attempt to contact her to try to get a response. The fastest email response I ever got from her was 2 weeks ; in my opinion, this is unacceptable. She seemed to not care about her job or our wedding very much. She was very disappointing to work with, and I think the Tremont would benefit from replacing her in this position.

    Great Hospitality

    Working with the Tremont House to meet all of our wedding weekend needs was wonderfully simple! Jordyn and her team went above and beyond during the planning and for our wedding weekend. We had a large group (30 rooms) with people from all over. The rooms were perfect and the Texas hospitality was excellent. As the MOB it was important to us that all of the family and friends that came to Galveston for our event were comfortable. The roof top bar was an added bonus for the after party!

    The Tremont House was an absolute dream to work with! Every request was met with not only ease but also excitement. Jordyn from the events team was absolutely fabulous to work with. She made my job as the wedding planner so easy and ensured all of my clients needs were met. My clients also received the VIP treatment from her team. Every single request I had for wedding weekend was done without me even having to manage her team. I will for sure recommend the Tremont as a hotel for any of my future clients! Xx

    Mother of the Bride

    Lots going on in Galveston in 2022, especially hotel wise. Lots of acquisitions, and sister hotels becoming independent. From the minute we were able to establish a weekend, Jordyn Cowan, Sales and Marketing Manager, begin to establish a professional and caring relationship with our group. Communication throughout this 6 month process was excellent, and Jordyn worked to make sure every single request was handled. She was even involved with other areas of the hotel, i.e. Rooftop, Catering, where they did all they could to make room for our group. I believe we had close to 50 rooms. The hotel was perfect, clean, and the bellhops and front office staff were on top of every detail for all of the guests. AND the Belmont Suite was the finest! Felt like we were in a scene from a movie, and the beautiful November day was just another plus.
