About this venue
The Horticulture Center, located in Philadelphia’s beautiful Fairmount Park, includes a modern exhibition hall and greenhouse on stunning historic grounds. The Center was built in 1979 and sits on the site of the former Horticultural Hall, an 1876 Centennial Exposition building. Boasting both intimate indoor and large-scale outdoor gathering spaces, the Horticulture Center is the ideal setting for unique private celebrations, exceptional weddings, and memorable corporate events.

Winter Wonderland Wedding WOW!
We had our winter wedding at the Philadelphia Horticulture Center at Fairmount Park, and I truly cannot say enough amazing things about this venue. Olivia and her team made it pure magic from start to finish. The space is absolutely stunning — even in the winter, it feels like you’re stepping into a romantic garden oasis. The greenery, natural light, and elegant greenhouse vibe create the perfect mix of cozy and breathtaking, and our guests could not stop talking about how unique and beautiful it was and how good the food and cocktails were. The setting is naturally gorgeous, which made our photos look like something out of a magazine. The venue flows beautifully for a wedding — from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception — and it felt intimate, warm, and inviting while still being spacious enough to celebrate comfortably. The winter atmosphere made it even more special: romantic, glowing, and timeless. If you’re looking for a Philadelphia wedding venue that feels elevated, charming, and unforgettable, the Horticulture Center is it. It’s a true hidden gem in the city and was the perfect backdrop for the most incredible day of our lives. We are so grateful we chose this venue — it was everything we dreamed of and more. Highly, highly recommend!

Best venue ever!!!
Olivia and her team at the Hort made wedding planning both easy AND fun! They also made our wedding day the best day of our entire lives. Everything from the grounds to the interior are beautiful and meticulously taken care of, and the food was next-level. If you’re looking for a venue that makes your life easier while planning your big day and can cater to whatever your vision may be, you’ve found it in the Hort!

Dreamiest venue!!!
The Fairmount Park Horticulture Center is the dreamiest venue ever with incredible food!! We received so many compliments on how much food we had all night long and how tasty it was. It’s extremely well run by an amazing team of people and we felt so taken care of all night. Everything was so on schedule and went according to plan. We were able to do so many walkthroughs throughout the planning process and the food tasting night was 10/10. I truly have no complaints about the venue or how the planning process went with the catering and venue leads.

Excellent place to get married
Stunning venue - the display garden is truly a one in a million place to get married. We initially planned to have our cocktail hour outdoors as we wanted to highlight the reflecting pool but unfortunately the weather didn’t permit - we had cocktail hour inside and it was still incredible. The whole team there was impressive and the food was truly delicious. My standards for wedding food are pretty low but it was excellent, and many of our guests commented that it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had (and they’d eat it again if they could). The whole team was lovely to work with. So, so glad we got married here!!

Simply Stunning
Our venue at the Fairmount Park Horticultural Center was absolutely stunning! From the moment we walked in to tour for the first time, til the time we left our reception every step of working with them was amazing. The setting was not only beautiful but the staff made us feel so welcomed. We couldn't have imagined a better place to commemorate our love. Special shoutout to Olivia and Nikki who made the experience making plans and building the menu so fun and easy! Great team 10/10 would recommend!
