Boho Style Wedding at The Farmhouse Plainfield

The Farmhouse Plainfield was a wonderful venue for our wedding. The space itself is beautiful, with a rustic yet elegant charm that created the perfect ambiance for our special day. While the communications from the venue staff were somewhat limited, they were still professional and responsive when we reached out. We would highly recommend The Farmhouse Plainfield to any couple looking for a stunning wedding venue.

Wonderful Wedding Venue

The venue is sooo pretty but way overpriced. Keep in mind you still need to cater, bar, and they do not provide silverware or plates. When i signed my contract with them, we agreed on a 200 vendor fee for our food to come in and serve. Later they needed an "updated" copy and switched it to 300, we were not pleased with that but i was not going to argue over a 100 and have the owner jeopardize my wedding. It rained on my wedding day and our photographer was trying to take some photos inside and attempted to close one of the curtains for lighting for a photo and the owner made his assistant tell us the curtains cant be moved. We just wanted a simple picture since the outdoors was wet and rainy. Beautiful venue but be prepared to deal with a madonna.
