The Abbey is a beautifully restored, historic wedding chapel and reception venue located in Salisbury, North Carolina. Originally built in 1940, this California mission-style church has been thoughtfully transformed into an elegant indoor wedding and reception venue that comfortably accommodates up to 150 guests. Blending timeless beauty with architectural charm, The Abbey offers a one-of-a-kind setting for couples to celebrate their love and create unforgettable memories with family and friends. The Abbey
The Abbey Salisbury was an incredible venue for our wedding. From the moment we inquired, they were extremely responsive and helpful, often getting back to us within minutes. The space itself is beautiful and well-maintained, with a great indoor and outdoor flow. The team there really went above and beyond, helping us plan every detail of our wedding day in the 30 days leading up to the event. On the day, they made sure everything ran smoothly so we could just enjoy ourselves. I would highly recommend their deluxe package - it was well worth staying the entire weekend there. The Abbey Salisbury made our special day perfect, and I cannot recommend them enough!

Seamless and Beautiful Christmas Wedding
We could not be happier with how our wedding turned out at The Abbey. From touring the property with Lori, to working on decorations with Michelle, to planning the day-of details with Jacqui, the entire experience was seamless. The Abbey staff brought our magical Christmas wedding vision to life, and we are so grateful. We also chose to rent the house on the property for the weekend, which made our time with friends and family even more special. The décor package was an absolute game-changer—our decorations, florals, and every little detail were completely taken care of, making the entire process effortless. We cannot recommend this venue enough!

December Wedding at the Abbey
The Abbey team was so helpful and lovely to work with! We didn’t have to worry about a thing the day of the wedding - the team took care of everything and was so flexible with our specific decor requests. Huge thank you to Michelle and Jacqui for all your help. We also got the weekend package and stayed at the rectory for the weekend which was so much fun. The house had everything we needed and had ample getting ready space. Highly recommend the Abbey for your wedding - in addition to being a beautiful venue, the all inclusive decor, on-site accommodations, and rehearsal dinner space made the whole weekend stress free.

Our experience at The Abbey Salisbury was wonderful from start to finish. The tour of the venue with Kristina was very thorough, they were responsive to any questions during the planning process, and the staff (especially Jacqui) were amazing on the wedding day to help with setup and making sure everything ran smoothly! Our experience at The Abbey Salisbury was amazing! Michelle and Jacqui were incredibly responsive, helpful, and detailed in their communication, ensuring that every aspect of our wedding day was taken care of. The quality of their work and the value they provided was exceptional and the decor they arranged was absolutely beautiful. The Abbey team managed all the details, taking care of the set up and clean up so we could fully enjoy our special day. Our family, friends, and even guests were all highly impressed. We had the weekend package, and the annex was clean and spacious, stocked with toiletries, coffee, and other necessities. Even the beds were comfy! We couldn't have asked for a better venue and team to host our wedding, and thanks to them, our day was an absolute dream!
