Renovated with state-of-the art design and technology, the original dairy barn has been transformed into the perfect space for your event, whatever the occasion. Bright and airy hall for beautiful photography.
The lower hall is a favorite space for indoor ceremonies up to 150 guests or for cocktail hour. Photographers love the natural light and bright atmosphere created by the white hemlock beams. A neutral canvas, every style of decor looks beautiful in this space, from moody fall colors to spring pastels. The white drapery included in your rental adds a sense of elegance that is perfect for weddings.

Great Hall
Where rustic charm meets elegant sophistication.
As you enter the Great Hall, soaring ceilings give a sense of awe and wonder as guests take in the view of the former hayloft. The space is perfect for ceremonies and receptions up to 200 guests seated, or 300 standing. Golden chandeliers impart elegance and refinement that elevates this venue past its humble origins as a working farm. Their glow sets a romantic mood for dinner, but the party starts once we dim the lights and open up the dance floor!

Sweeney Barn may be a historical building, but it is easily accessible and fully equipped with modern amenities. You will have up to ten hours of exclusive access to the facilities - three hours for set-up, six hours for guests and one hour for clean-up. Sweeney Barn provides 200 white padded chairs, 20 wine barrels with stools for high top tables, a ceremony arch, and assorted lanterns/decor.

SO glad we chose Sweeney Barn!
Sweeney Barn was the perfect fit for our wedding day. Andrea was incredibly organized and responsive throughout the entire planning process, and she was always happy to answer questions from both my mother and me without hesitation. The space itself is stunning and didn't need much added to feel like an upscale venue as the chandeliers and openness of the structure provide a perfect backdrop. However, we did choose to add drapery and florals that enhanced the already beautiful space to exactly what wanted. We loved how versatile the barn was—we flipped the upstairs to work for both our ceremony and reception, while using the downstairs for cocktail hour, and this flexibility proved invaluable when the weather didn't cooperate on our day. The venue's requirements/preferred vendors work in favor for couples, or at least for us. Using a day-of coordinator as required, which I was hesitant about turned out to be one of the best decisions we made and we did this through Sublime Event Coordinator who worked with a preferred caterer, Genesis Delight Catering. Dianna at Sublime along with our day-of venue manager, Glynis, helped everything run smoothly and kept us stress-free. We couldn't have asked for a better experience with Sweeney Barn and highly recommend them to any couple looking for a beautiful, well-run venue.

The most GORGEOUS venue
This was the very first wedding venue I toured and I immediately knew I was going to book it for my winter wedding! The chandeliers, spiral staircase, and elegant decor just had me sold. Andrea and the Sweeney barn management team are just amazing — quick responses and so so helpful! They have an entire closet of decor items that you can use like lanterns, fairy lights, easels, and more! They also put me at ease with their expertise on hosting weddings and amazing team of preferred vendors.

Most Beautiful Winter Wedding!!

Sweeney Barn is an incredible venue!
We had our wedding at Sweeney Barn on 10/10/2025, and it was absolutely amazing! The venue is perfect, offering different options for the ceremony and cocktail hour, along with a beautiful space for the reception. The staff is incredible. Andrea, the general manager, was fantastic to work with—she responded to questions quickly and provided great recommendations. Lisa was on-site the day of our wedding and helped ensure everything went perfectly. One of my favorite things about the venue is that they offer a wide variety of décor options at no additional cost. Beautiful Indoor Venue
Andrea was very attentive, professional and communicative. Everyone was so thoughtful and did a wonderful job with the room layout for our wedding. Sweeney Barn has gorgeous spaces for the ceremony and reception that are airy, spacious and full of light which was perfect with the florals. We loved taking pictures in the Silo. A perfect venue to have an indoor wedding!
