Sunday In Brooklyn, a warm and inviting neighborhood restaurant located in Williamsburg, can host a large variety of events. From seated private dining experiences with cocktails in our enclosed garden, to full buy-out weddings and rehearsal dinners, Sunday in Brooklyn can accommodate groups ranging from 8 to 200 guests.

A temperature controlled enclosed rooftop Garden, with long wooden dining tables and market string lights.
Our second floor covered Garden room is the perfect addition to second floor Sun Room events, as a rustic, green indoor space to set up a satellite bar, and have guests mingle prior to heading to their tables inside. The Garden is also the perfect space for bridal showers, post-wedding brunches, etc. for ~25 guests.

The ground floor Bar Room + connected Kitchen area is the perfect place to hold your cocktail hour prior to heading upstairs for the seated meal. The Bar Room can be used as extra seating during your buyout for dinner service, or can remain as a standing cocktails-only area for the duration of the evening.

my husband and I had a small 30-person wedding celebration at Sunday in Brooklyn, which was beyond our wildest dreams. We planned it in only 2 months, which was incredibly seamless with the help of the Sunday in Brooklyn team, who we could completely trust to take things over. From the moment we reached out with an inquiry, the staff was incredibly responsive and accomodating and made us feel incredibly confident that we had chosen the right venue. There were over 100 emails between us leading up to the day, with the staff ensuring that every single vision we had could be accomodated, from the dietary restrictions, to rearranging the art, to using different spaces as changing rooms, to playing music cues at our kiss and entrance. Our coordinator went out of her way to make suggestions and give us ideas about things we hadn’t thought of, such as menu customizations and decor ideas, which was incredibly helpful. The day itself was the most magical one of my life, but I will never take for granted how smoothly it went with Sunday in Brooklyn’s incredible staff who made everything we wanted possible. Would rate this a 20/10 if I could!!

City Hall Reception at Sunday in Brooklyn
Sunday in Brooklyn was the perfect venue for our intimate dinner party after our City Hall wedding. From the very beginning, the staff was incredibly organized, helpful, and easy to work with as we planned the event. They made the entire process seamless, ensuring every detail was taken care of. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the delicious food and cozy, intimate vibe of the space. We're so grateful to the team at Sunday in Brooklyn for helping make our special day even more memorable!

Everything we wanted!
My wife and I got married in an intimate brunch ceremony in the Garden room and it was absolutely everything we wanted. The space is beautiful with tons of natural light and we were able to comfortably fit our 20 guests photographer, second shooter, and planner. The staff were super helpful and beyond friendly - our guests never had to wait around to flag someone down and they were all very happy with the steady flow of drinks and food. The staff also quickly accommodated our request to bring out many orders of the famous pancakes (which really are that good) with the rest of the food (rather than after) and did some great jigsawing with all the food on the table. They also helpfully packaged up all the leftovers into a bunch of bags, allowing our us and our guests to take home extra food. Would highly recommend Sunday in Brooklyn, particularly if you are looking for a brunch time event. Only downside was the flooring in the Garden room is wood with a decent amount of room between planks and my heels kept getting stuck between them.

We Love Sunday In Brooklyn
Choosing Sunday In Brooklyn as our venue was the best decision we made about our wedding! Marissa, the events coordinator, was incredibly helpful in lead up & on the night of. Todd, one of the owners, helped us be totally unstressed & just focus on the excitement. A year later, our friends & family are still talking about how good the dinner was. (THE MUSHROOMS!) The whole team was incredibly accommodating — we had 107 guests + seated dinner + dancing & the team did an awesome job of flipping the spaces for us. Can’t recommend them enough.
