Bate and Switch

Our wedding experience was deeply disappointing due to several significant issues. Despite planning for 100 guests, only 60 chairs were set up for the ceremony, forcing the Groom, Best Man, and Bride’s sister to scramble and find additional seating in another ballroom. The air conditioning in the ceremony room was inexplicably turned off, making it uncomfortable for everyone. The dinner service was severely understaffed, with only two servers and one lead handling the entire event. To make matters worse, the so-called Event Coordinator left at 7 PM, leaving us to manage the rest of the evening, including directing the catering staff ourselves. Dinner was served at 9:30 pm, over an hour late. The bartender’s behavior was shockingly unprofessional, as they were seen taking shots with guests. None of our requests were honored; we specified particular centerpieces and colors, but the venue disregarded our instructions and used whatever they preferred. Overall, nothing went as planned, and the lack of professionalism and attention to detail left us stressed and disappointed on what should have been the happiest day of our lives.
