About this venue
Venue is set in a historic building right in Downtown Monroe along the River Raisin. Outdoor space is available for a ceremony or cocktail party prior to your indoor reception. We rent the hall for the day, 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays for $750. We rent for an 8 hour block of time Sundays through Thursdays for $375. With either rental we charge a $250 security/clean up deposit. That is refunded after the hall has been returned in clean/undamaged condition. We only rent the hall, which includes use of the tables and chairs. Your rental fee that holds your date is non-refundable. You are free to have your ceremony and reception at the facility, many people have done this in the past. For linens, dishes, food etc, you would need to contact a provider for those. Awful service
The owner is Very rude and unprofessional. Once they take your money, they’re about impossible to get back in touch with not very forthcoming with their process. Their drink package is very confusing. Booked the hall for a wedding reception and we had to cancel due to all the additional fees they throw in there. They took 750 deposit refuse to refund any of the money. All the details changed, depending on who you talk to who you talk to. I recommend finding better venue, one with clear communication and written out details so as they can’t change on you at last minute. We have read other bad reviews, and we gave them the benefit of the doubt, but they lived up to every complaint that you read
