Parking Costs: Valet-only parking is available for approximately $75.00 per night (plus tax) and includes in/out privileges. Vehicle Restrictions: The maximum garage clearance is 7 feet. Valet is also available for oversized vehicles at a similar rate. EV Charging: There are seven electric vehicle charging stations located on-site. Public Transit: The hotel is a short walk from the Metro Center Station and Mt Vernon Sq 7th St-Convention Center station. Airport Shuttle: The hotel does not provide a complimentary airport shuttle.

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes, our hotel has liability insurance. However, it does not cover damages caused by your guests or vendors or any cancellation by the couple due to unforeseen circumstances. We suggest looking into wedding insurance.

The rental fee varies depending on the season. Tables, linens, chairs, plates, silverware, and glassware are included with the fee, as well as staffing needs for setup and breakdown.

Are there changing areas for the bride, groom, and/or wedding party?

Accepted Answer

Yes, there are options to reserve a suite to prepare before your event, such as our Presidential Suite or our Hospitality Suite. We provide a holding area for the bridal party that starts one hour before the ceremony or reception. Can we have our rehearsal dinner here? What about a morning-after mimosa brunch? Yes, you can. We have menu options for both. Please let your catering manager know you are interested.

How many hours are included in our booking?

The rental fee covers four hours of the actual event, including setup and breakdown times. If you stay longer on the day of the event, there will be an additional fee. However, you can add hours prior to the day of your event for a reduced charge.

Can I have my ceremony here, too?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can. A ceremony fee of $1,500 covers the additional one hour for arrivals and ceremonies. The fee includes ceremony chair setup and one hour of rehearsal time; the time and date will be determined closer to your event.

Can we do a food tasting before we finalize our menu selection?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can. The tasting will be held no earlier than 90 days before your wedding for up to four guests. Any additional guests will incur a cost.

Do you allow outside vendors for food or alcohol/beverages?

No, we do not. All food and beverages must be provided through the hotel. Please discuss dietary or religious concerns with your catering manager for options.

Can I bring in a cake from an outside baker, or do I have to use a cake made on-site?

Yes, you can provide a cake from an outside vendor. A cake-cutting fee is already included in the cost of your wedding package with us. We will require a Certificate of Insurance from your Baker.

Are there additional charges for staff?

Yes, there is a fee for a bartender, and we suggest one bartender per 75 guests. Our current fee is $325 for four hours.

Can I hire my own vendors, or do we need to follow a preferred vendor list?

Yes, you can use any vendor you prefer. However, we provide a list of vendors we know will work tirelessly to execute your wedding. All vendors will require a Certificate of Insurance to work at the hotel.

Do you offer on-site coordination?

Yes, we provide an on-site coordinator, but they are not a planner. You are required to have your own planner for the day of your wedding. Our coordinator acts as a liaison between your planner and our hotel team.

Do you provide a coat check service?

Yes, we do. An additional fee for the attendant is $325 for four hours and $375 for five hours.

What time can my vendors start setting up on the day of the wedding?

Accepted Answer

Vendors can access your event up to two hours before your contracted time. Should additional time be needed, arrangements may be made prior to contracting. Additional time may be granted 1-2 weeks before your event.
