About this venue

Nestled right off Lake Norman in North Carolina, Chickadee Hill Farms sits on 25 rolling acres. We are a climate controlled post and bean barn with a gorgeous little white chapel. We also have a wooded outdoor ceremony site for the picture perfect wedding. You must also check out our 8 resident miniature rescue ponies.     A beautiful Venue and amazing staff

    I cannot recommend this venue enough. The staff was AMAZING and some of the nicest humans you will meet. And the venue itself was gorgeous! We got married in the chapel and it was so pretty. Plus our guest loved all of the animals. Also, Mandy was our day of coordinator and she was the sweetest person. She made sure everything ran smoothly. I was not stressed at all.

    The best venue

    Chickadee was a beautiful venue, our pictures turned out wonderful. I love that they animals so so much and Mandy was wonderful to work with! We hired her as our DOC and have 0 regrets. To my knowledge, we had no issues on wedding day Thank you Chickadee for a wonderful wedding day ️

    We held our wedding ceremony and reception at Chickadee Hill Farms and were so happy with our choice! The venue has a charming, rustic farmhouse vibe that perfectly suited the vision we had for our big day. From our first communication with them, the staff (especially Mandy Queen!) was friendly, helpful, and understanding as we planned out all the details. On the wedding day, the natural beauty of the farm and surrounding land made for a simply beautiful backdrop for our ceremony and photos (especially the chickadees, donkeys, and other animals!!). The barn reception hall is cozy and elegant while still retaining that countryside charm. We highly recommend Chickadee Farms if you're looking for a rustic, farmhouse wedding venue with great staff!

    Beautiful venue

    This was the first venue we visited and I loved it immediately. It books up really fast, we had it booked a year and a half in advance and we still had limited dates to pick from. But Mandy the coordinator at the venue does a fantastic job with doc and timeline leading up to the wedding. Highly recommend this venue.
