About this venue
Canyon Run Ranch is a destination wedding venue in a lush, green, privately-owned nature preserve situated on 153 acres. Couples experience magical weddings in the forest on the ridge, get photos beside the creek above the waterfalls, and celebrate with their guests in the warmth of the authentic, historic bank barn under 1,000’s of twinkle lights, all powered by solar energy. Canyon Run practices sustainability without sacrificing comfort or beauty. CRR is a private, secluded venue offering excellent, personal service with a touch of whimsy for a fun and eco-friendly wedding.

The Woods at Canyon Run
Experience a wedding ceremony is the woods of Canyon Run. Completely private, quiet, serene, and magical.
The most romantic, peaceful and sacred space to exchange wedding vows. You walk through a field of wildflowers to the entrance to the woods, following the path to the opening where a whimsical arbor made of curly willow sets the stage for magical experience. Handcrafted wood benches are placed among the trees allowing everyone a seat in the cool shade.

The Milk Parlor
Graced by natural timber beams on the ceiling, hand-hewn and historic. This is a gorgeous space for cocktail hour.
The Milk Parlor is the perfect setting for enjoying cocktails and appetizers. Lit by strands of Edison bulbs, the Milk Parlor is a wonderful airy space with the original timber joists exposed, all harvested on property over 170 years ago. An ash farm table centers the space with vintage mixed seating. This area is beautifully lit to take full advantage of its charm and will allow your guests to relax, enjoy a cocktail, and experience the magic of rustic Ohio country with all of its history.

Canyon Run Ranch was the wedding venue of our dreams! Amy was always prompt in her communication leading up to the day and went above and beyond to ensure all of our questions and concerns were answered. My sister is in a wheel chair, and we were concerned about her ability to move through out the venue, but Amy ensured she was able to access everything from the ceremony space, cocktail hour, and reception barn! The venue itself is gorgeous. The pictures do not do it justice at all; it is straight out of a fairy tale! We used their recommended vendors list for catering and had 0 issues with the service. We also went with craft event bar for the DJ, alcohol, and planning services and I cannot recommend them enough. It made the entire day seamless so that both myself and my husband could relax and enjoy the day! Also, wedding cat was a fan favorite!

Amy and Gary were an absolute pleasure to work with, and all of the love and effort they put into the venue really shows. Amy was always so responsive with any questions we had throughout the planning process. They also have really curated absolutely incredible preferred vendors, which shows how much care they have for their venue. The attention to detail in the space really showed, and all of our guest were blown away with it. This was the perfect wedding venue for us and we will be recommending it to anyone.

The Woods at Canyon Run Ranch was the perfect venue for our dream wedding. From the moment we inquired, the team provided fast communication and were incredibly responsive, making the planning process seamless. On the day of, the natural beauty of the venue took our breath away - the lush greenery, serene pond, and rustic barn created a breathtaking environment that felt like something out of a fairytale. Our guests were in awe of the stunning setting, and we couldn't have imagined a more beautiful backdrop for our special day. The Woods at Canyon Run Ranch truly made our wedding dreams come true.

Incredible Escape!

Help in a Hurricane
Canyon Run was a literal dream come true. Amy was always willing to answer our questions and was super easy to communicate with us. The day of our wedding, she was so so helpful. We happened to get married on the day that the wind and rain from Hurricane Helene hit in Ohio. Obviously, it threw a wrench in our plans and she was so willing to help us out. When we texted her and said we wanted to do a 3 pm private ceremony with our immediate family and bridal party, she immediately stepped in to help, contacting the DJ so we could have our music as we walked down the aisle. She worked with my day of coordinator so that the barn looked perfect for when our guests arrived and we had our official ceremony. It was so beautiful and perfect and despite the weather, an actual dream come true.
