Hi! My name is Tiffany Rivers, owner of Rivers Event Planning. I have been in the hospitality industry for 15 years. My journey started in culinary school as a young adult and then as an Event Banquet Captain for various catering companies on the Central Coast. My love for serving others lead me to receive a degree in Hospitality Management! I then worked as an Event Coordinator for a private school in San Luis Obispo. 5 years later I decided to start my own company as a Special Event Planner and the rest is history!

My true niche is day-of management. I take great pride in the coordination aspect of your wedding day. Communication with everyone involved in your special day is the key to success, making certain everyone knows the plan we've spent a whole year creating! I come in at the 3 month mark of your planning journey and help align your vision with reality! I review your work so far and come up with a clear plan of action to finish planning your dream wedding!

Truly month of coordination. You've got most everything ironed out by now and I come in and finalize the last details with your vendors, refine your timeline and coordinate the big day ahead so you don't have to worry about a thing!

    She's the best!

    We had chosen Tiffany for her day of/coordinating services and it was the best decision ever! From first phone call to the end of our wedding day, she was the sweetest, most thorough, and was overall such a pleasure to work with. I was a bit overwhelmed with planning our DIY wedding, but she saw & understood our vision and filled in every gap I was missing as it was getting closer to the big day! The weekend of the wedding, she was so organized and on top of every detail! She was great with communicating with all my vendors and my guests noticed her "in charge but so sweet" approach. We enjoyed our big day mostly because we literally did not have to worry about ANY wedding business and was able to trust her to run the show!

    Smooth and easy experience with Tiffany

    Tiffany was an amazing wedding coordinator. She took care of literally all of the vendor communication for us. I remember the day before the wedding I called her about the forecasted rain, worrying about what we would do. She told me she was on top of it and was already coordinating with our venue about umbrellas/moving tables under the awning. I think it’s really worth it to find a coordinator with the experience that Tiffany has.

    Fantastic Planner

    As a vendor, it was genuinely great working with this planner. When a technical video issue came up on the wedding day, they jumped in right away with a calm, positive attitude and helped get everything sorted quickly. Moments like that make a huge difference, and their communication and teamwork made the whole day run smoother for everyone. I’d absolutely love to work with them again and would happily recommend them to couples and fellow vendors alike.

    Thank Goodness for Tiffany

    Tiffany did a tremendous job helping with the lead-up coordination, vendor contact, rehearsal and day-of coordination. She handled wedding weekend guest questions and day-of logistics, and helped us really enjoy our day. Our wedding was also her first wedding at Ragged Point Inn, and it went so well considering she was coordinating with our venue and some of our vendors for the first time. We did a lot of things our own unique way :), and Tiffany also helped us make everything a reality - from a dinner-only reception to a silent disco dance party!
