Our designs are inspired by European garden parties, château weddings, and intimate villa celebrations, interweaved with bits of your love story. Our team has planned over 80 weddings and we work best with couples who value intentional design, trust professional guidance, and want a planning experience that feels calm, collaborative, and elevated.
At the heart of Fête du Jour Events is Jennifer, a visionary planner whose journey from fashion and beauty editor to luxury wedding planner brings the perfect blend of design sophistication and meticulous attention to detail. A one woman show has since transformed into a powerhouse trio with the addition of Michelle and Elise! Whether you're planning an intimate elopement or a grand celebration, the Fête du Jour Events team of DC wedding planners brings 7 years of experience, creative vision, and genuine care to make your special day truly unforgettable.

| Description | This extensive package includes everything from helping to select save- the-dates that suit your aesthetic to tearing down after the fun is over, we are here from beginning to end. Don’t want to follow up with RSVPs? We’ve got it covered. Need wedding party styling tips? Say no more. Unlimited brainstorming meetings will ensure everything is taken care of! One assistant is included. | Where you go, we will follow! | Our most popular package is perfect for the couple with the big ideas who needs some guidance with the details and execution. We will help bring your vision to life by tying up your loose ends by securing up to five missing vendors. This package is customizable based on where you are in the planning process. Day-of coordination and one assistant are included. | You've planned the big day, now you just need it to run smoothly! Sometimes referred to as a Day-of or Month-of package, this is perfect for you if you want to find and book all your vendors, but don't want to leave set-up to your friends and family. We will make your timeline and coordinate with your vendors a month out, and will be there on the day itself to make sure it goes off without a hitch. |

BEST WEDDING PLANNER OF ALL TIME
Fête du Jour Events quite literally made my wedding a fairytale dream! I didn’t have to worry about a single thing, and every bride knows that’s nearly impossible!! Jennifer remembered every detail and was unbelievably organized through every step of the process. She sent thoughtful reminders that kept everything on track without ever making me feel stressed or anxious. Honestly, you’re doing yourself a disservice if you don’t hire her. Jennifer is not only the most talented planner, but also the sweetest person. You’re simply not planning your wedding right without her! I’ll never forget waking up one morning in a total panic thinking I forgot something. I texted Jennifer immediately… Of course, she had already handled it. That moment sums her up perfectly: thoughtful, calm, and always one step ahead.

One of the best wedding decisions we made!
Jennifer is absolutely fantastic! We hired her for partial planning and day-of coordination, and it was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning. In the months before the wedding, she was always responsive and happy to chat on the phone when we needed to run through ideas and questions. She had great vendor recommendations and suggestions for making our wedding more sustainable. Day-of, she took our vision for our wedding day and made it a reality. She managed all of the vendors, 2 different venues, and all of the chaos that comes with wedding guests (all the way down to tracking down the groom's lost tie clip!). We couldn't have had the best day without her!

Jennifer & Fete de Jour are AMAZING!!
I do not even know where to begin - I could never recommend Jennifer and Fete de Jour enough!! Jennifer was so amazing to work with throughout the entire process and literally made our day ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! Everything went so seamlessly thanks to Jennifer and I enjoyed literally every second of our wedding day completely relaxed knowing she had it all covered. From her encouraging texts during planning, to her brilliant idea for where to put the arch when we moved the wedding inside due to a hurricane and literally EVERYTHING she in between ... simply amazing. I could go on and on! Look no further, Jennifer & Fete de Jour are THE best!
