I typically work alongside my husband, who is my trusted partner on wedding days. For larger weddings (usually 200 guests or more), I bring in additional contracted assistants to ensure everything runs smoothly. No matter the size of your wedding, you’ll always have dedicated support from me every step of the way!

Describe your experience. How many weddings have you planned, and what are they like? Any specialties?

I’ve planned 5 weddings so far and currently have 11 more in progress—ranging from intimate celebrations to larger weddings with over 200 guests. Each one has had its own style and budget, and I love customizing the experience to match each couple’s vision. I also planned my own 200+ guest wedding while my husband was deployed, incorporating meaningful Filipino traditions, so cultural and faith-based weddings are close to my heart.

How much time should we expect to spend with you?

It depends on the package you choose! For day-of, month-of, or à la carte services, we’ll typically start connecting about 1–2 months before your wedding. For partial and full-service planning, we’ll meet 2–3 times per month leading up to your big day to ensure every detail is thoughtfully planned and executed.

Do you take on multiple weddings in a day or weekend?

I never take on more than one wedding in a day to ensure each couple gets my full attention. While I have taken multiple weddings in a single weekend before, I try not to do it often in order to avoid burnout and give each event the care and focus it deserves.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes! I offer flexible payment plans to help make your wedding planning more manageable: A 6-month payment plan with an 10% financing fee A 3-month payment plan with a 5% financing fee If these options don’t fit your budget, please let me know! I’m happy to work with you to create a payment arrangement that accommodates your needs as much as possible.

Do you charge travel fees?

Accepted Answer

Travel within 50 miles or up to 1.5 hours of Dallas–Fort Worth is included in all of my packages. For venues beyond that range, travel is billed at the current IRS standard mileage rate ($0.65 per mile round trip). If an overnight stay is required—such as for venues over 1.5 hours away, early morning setups, or late-night receptions—I kindly ask that lodging be provided with a minimum budget of $150 per night at a comfortable hotel near the venue.

How much is the deposit to book you as our wedding planner?

To officially reserve your wedding date, I require a non-refundable retainer at the time of booking. For full-service and partial planning packages, the retainer is 50%. For month-of and day-of coordination, the retainer is 25%. The remaining balance is due 7 days before your wedding.

Includes 2 monthly meetings, rehearsal coordination, setup/breakdown, contract reviews, and logistics support for a smooth, stress-free wedding day.	Periwinkle Promise is for couples who’ve planned it all but need expert day-of coordination. We handle vendor management, setup, timeline execution, and guest support, plus provide access to our emergency wedding kit. Includes two key meetings—one at the start of your wedding month and one the week before—to finalize every detail and ensure your day runs smoothly.
