About your business or you I'm Wade, a Lake Tahoe based wedding photographer who shoots all over California and beyond. Tahoe, the Bay Area, Santa Cruz, Maui, the Sierra Nevada, the coast. I've spent years learning the light in all of it and that knowledge shows up in your photos whether you're getting married at High Camp in the mountains or at a vineyard in Napa or on a beach in Maui. My style is documentary and film-inspired. I show up, stay out of the way, and photograph your day as it actually happens. No stiff portraits. No fake candids. No trends that will make you cringe in ten years. Just real moments and good times.

I came up shooting for a newspaper. Nobody posed for those photos. Things just happened and I was there to document them. That's still how I work at weddings. I'm not running the show or pulling you away from your reception for a 45 minute portrait session. I'm reading the room, finding the light, and making photographs that look like your day actually felt. I know the light at Palisades Tahoe, the Ritz-Carlton, Sand Harbor, Dancing Pines, and venues up and down the California coast. That location knowledge means less wasted time and better photos.
