I’m Shelley, a woman who has been fundamentally changed by love, and I suspect that you’re here because love has changed you too. It’s nice to meet you, fellow human full of brilliance and eccentricities. I’m a native Austinite, an extrovert who revels in meeting new people (but also appreciates alone time now that I have children), and an earnest optimist who thrives on seeing the gold in others.

I will document your wedding with the honesty and warmth with which I approach life, not ignoring the bitter, but treasuring the sweetness that balances it out. My goal is for you to have the best wedding day experience possible, which means preparing ahead of time, directing when I need to, but mostly just letting y'all enjoy the moments you have with the ones you love. More than 10 years of experience shooting weddings doesn't hurt either!

Shelley is the BEST!
Shelley photographed our wedding in November and I cannot recommend her enough! Not only is she so kind and professional, she’s a fantastic photographer. All of our pictures are beautiful and perfectly captured our day. While the posed photos are amazing, my favorite are all of the candid photos or action shots she got. You can truly feel the emotions of that moment through the photos. The day after our wedding she sent us some sneak peeks and we got our photos quickly. She also sent us a lovely package with some prints and a USB of all the photos. If you need a photographer, you cannot go wrong with Shelley!

Shelley went above and beyond!
We truly cannot say enough good things about Shelley. From the very beginning, she was organized, professional, super easy to get along with, and genuinely invested in making our day special, but what really stood out was how she went above and beyond on our wedding night. Shelley didn’t just show up and take photos, she helped keep the timeline on track, calmed nerves, adjusted to last-minute changes without hesitation, and somehow managed to capture every meaningful moment in between. When things got hectic, Shelley was steady and reassuring. When we needed a creative idea, she had one ready. It felt like having an extra member of the bridal party who just happened to be incredibly talented behind the camera. The photos are absolutely stunning, candid, emotional, and beautifully composed, but what we’ll remember just as much is how supported we felt throughout the entire evening. We are so grateful and would recommend Shelley to anyone who wants not just amazing photos, but an amazing experience with a photographer that feels like a part of the wedding party.
