Since 2018, Christine has been documenting weddings as Salty Broad Studios. She is an award-winning photographer who stands out from the rest with her moment-driven approach, top shelf organization skills and thoughtful communication. Christine has worked as a photographer for her entire career–that’s 20 years of professional picture taking! She is known for her fun personality and unflappable demeanor. With Salty Broad Studios, you can rest assured that your moments are in capable hands so you can relax and enjoy your wedding day to the absolute fullest.

I pour my heart and soul into wedding day coverage. I’m passionate about getting impactful photos that show emotion. It’s not just a job for me, it’s a way of life. Weddings have a natural story arc. They are the perfect assignment for story hunters like myself. Photojournalists are passionate about access and discovery. As a documentary photographer and a collector of stories, I enjoy observing all of the different rituals and the raw emotion, but truly the most rewarding part is hearing how my couples are enjoying the photos and seeing how important the photo collection becomes through the years.

    Capturing the Joy: Salty Broad Studios

    Given that one of us is the daughter of a wedding photographer, we identified artistic photography that told the story of our relationship and our wedding as one of our biggest priorities. As a queer couple, it was very important to us to work with queer and queer affirming vendors. In Salty Broad Studios and Christine, we got everything we were looking for and more. From our first consultation, we felt both seen and in the hands of a true expert. Our engagement photo shoot was simultaneously hilarious and romantic, even for the introverted half of our couple. Christine's questionnaires, planning tools, and advice were invaluable in the lead up to our wedding. The day of our wedding, Christine and her second shooter, Gretchen, were energetic, creative, thoughtful, and upbeat. Christine even comes prepared with props for wrangling both dogs and kids! They perfectly captured the community, joy, love, and gratitude at the heart of our ceremony and reception. We will truly cherish these photos for a lifetime and look forward to working with Christine again in the future.     Beautiful Photos!

    Christine went above and beyond to help us with wedding photography and delivered the wedding photos we hoped for. We had our photographer fall through at the last minute and had previously connected with Christine. Although she wasn't available for our full day, she connected us with a colleague who was able to fill in and handled all the photo editing. She also went an extra mile to meet the groomsmen for an extra photoshoot while the other photographer was with the bridal party. We are so grateful for all her time and effort to make our day special. The photos Christine took of the groomsmen were amazing!! They're so fun and captured the best moments. We were very happy with the editing and delivery was so fast after the wedding. Cannot recommend her more if you want bright, beautiful photos and to work with someone who truly cares about making your day and the photos perfect.

    Christine is absolutely phenomenal! She captured the essence of our relationship so well on our wedding day with such unique photos!     Christine is the best!

    We LOVED working with Salty Broad Studios and choosing Christine as our wedding photographer was definitely one of the best wedding decisions we made! She is so incredibly friendly and fun, yet still so organized and professional. She made it so easy to open up in front of the camera (I especially hate getting my photo taken, as a child I had to be bribed with candy, but she made it so easy and fun!). Christine handled everything so perfectly on the day and made it such an enjoyable experience. The photos are INCREDIBLE!! We are so so happy with how they turned out! Christine truly captured all the amazing moments of the day, all the great candid moments and emotions, gorgeous sunset and windy beach photos, and everything in between! It was so fun to relive the day through her photos and see everything so beautifully captured. We cannot recommend Christine more highly!

    Salty Broad Studios is the best!

    Searching for a photographer for our wedding was a challenge for us - mostly we are not big 'photo takers'. Christine at Salty Broad Studios was suggested to us by our planner and we are so glad we decided to go with her! She was communicative, friendly, easy to work with, and a lot of fun! She did a wonderful job with our engagement, and wedding photos, we actually loved pretty much all of them. I was actually amazed how we barely even noticed she was there most of the time, and was like 'Wow, i didn't even realize she got that moment!' - so if you're more of an introverted type, Christine's style would honestly be perfect. We cannot thank her enough and everything was truly amazing!
