I’ve spent a decade documenting love stories all over New England. I’m not here to turn your wedding into a production, or pose you like mannequins. I’m here for the drunk hugs, the ugly cries, the chaos, and the quiet minutes where you finally catch your breath. For you to look back generations from now and recall exactly how you felt in that moment.
By the time your wedding day rolls around, we’ll already be friends. I don’t just show up as a random vendor with a gear bag; I’m the guy in your corner making sure the vibe stays high and the stress stays low. My priority is to make sure you actually enjoy your wedding. I handle the logistics so you never have to wonder what to do with your hands, but I also know when to back off and let you breathe.

Captured my elopement so beautifully!
Ryan DeVoll Photography was the perfect choice for our wedding day. They were quick to respond, kind, and exciting to work with. THE BEST WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
Ryan was our wedding photographer and he was truly so amazing! His photos were absolutely stunning! He did our wedding and our engagement photos and everything turned out perfect! On top of the photos, he has the BEST energy! I received so many compliments afterwards about how amazing his energy was throughout the day and you can definitely see how it also feeds into the energy in the photos. Ryan Captured the Joy We Felt — Perfectly
We had a pretty nontraditional wedding and came to Ryan DeVoll with a similarly nontraditional vision for capturing the day. We didn’t want a lot of portraits or a long shot list, but someone to document our day with our favorite people. Ryan completely understood what we were going for and delivered beyond anything we imagined. After several planning conversations leading up to the wedding, we were confident photography was something we didn’t need to worry about — and the results speak for themselves. Ryan captured the pure joy that we (and our guests) felt throughout the day. Ryan was an awesome presence all day: professional and organized with great vision for locations, but easygoing, never intrusive, and somehow always in the right place at the right time. Also, genuinely funny — we honestly wish we’d had more time together! The photos feel cinematic and alive. Just Book Ryan DeVoll Already!
Our entire experience booking Ryan DeVoll for our Fall 2025 wedding in Providence was exceptional. From the very first email exchange when we reached out to inquire about packages and pricing, Ryan made us feel comfortable, heard, and confident. These feelings maintained as we continued on to plan out our day-of timeline and explain our desired aesthetic for our photographs during one-on-one consultations leading up to the wedding. When the big day finally came, Ryan's positive, reassuring personality and wealth of experience made taking our pictures a fun experience, despite our nervousness about posing and taking shots in public during a heavily attended WaterFire Festival. After our contracted hours with Ryan expired, we invited him to have dinner and join the party, and to nobody's surprise, he was a big hit! As we sit now with the final products in front of us, we could not be happier with the results! High quality photographs of the procession, vows, kiss, and speeches are there, of course, but so are photos capturing smaller moments of conversation and intimacy which might escape a less trained eye. Though we did not know Ryan before we booked him, when we now look at the Polaroid selfie and kind message he left in our guestbook, we see a friend whose presence was essential to both making our wedding memorable and recording it for posterity. Just book him already and thank us later!
