Kendra Smith Weddings
Kendra Smith is a documentary-style photographer and videographer working in 35mm, 120, and Super 8 film, where she focuses on honest emotion and documentary integrity. Inspired by the intimacy of Eve Arnold and the elegance of Slim Aarons, she blends portraiture with unfiltered storytelling—capturing raw emotion in images that are candid, cinematic, and timeless.
Kendra has been photographing people, places, and things since she was a kid. Weddings came naturally as she picked up her first digital in 2016 and continued to take on weddings while working full-time. After years of in-house photography work with various marketing positions, she decided to pursue her own business in 2021. Her experience as a photographer ranges from weddings, events, to studio and editorial photography. She is passionate about stories and how we all find our place in the world and capturing the beauty in the big and small moments. From the individual to the collective, she hopes to capture what is true and honest.

Kendra Smith - best decision of our wedding!
Kendra's casual but impactful documentary style combined with her skills in shooting film was why we chose to work with her for our wedding. Her style represented us perfectly, and she was professional and caring from the very beginning of the process all the way to the end. On the actual wedding day, she was stealth and adaptive to everything that happened. She made sure our shot list was followed but somehow also managed to capture every little unpredictable moment that made the day so special to us. We can't thank you enough and will cherish your work forever!

Amazing experience highly recommend
I have so many amazing things to say about Kendra. Throughout the entire wedding planning process and on our wedding day she made us feel so comfortable, heard, and important. She was so organized with communication and timeline the months ahead and day of, and it made everything go so seamlessly. She is incredibly talented and we loved all of our photos and video she did for us, I couldn’t recommend her more!
