I’ve had a camera in my hand since I can remember. On family vacations each of us had a camera and would come back with several rolls of film. It was great to see different perspectives of the same place. My photos became more refined throughout my childhood as I graduated to my stepdad’s Minolta film SLR. In college I dedicated myself to photography professionally with a degree in photojournalism, then found my calling with a wedding studio at 19.

Proudly based in North Lake Tahoe, I offer wedding photography that can be done all around this majestic lake. There are many amazing locations around Lake Tahoe that will make your special day one to never forget. Many stunning views are available to see at the lake, with amazing photo opportunities everywhere. Stunning overlooks will have everyone wanting to know where you had such beautiful photos done! Featuring stunning beaches, trees, and breathtaking mountains, Lake Tahoe is a sight to behold and one that would be perfect for your special day.

    Wedding in AL

    Nicky Byrnes Photography was the perfect choice for our wedding photographer. From the moment we connected with Nicky, her communication style was open, easy, and she was quick to respond to all of our questions. Her work is genuine, memorable, and absolutely beautiful. We first met Nicky while we were travel nursing in Tahoe, where she took our engagement photos. We were so impressed with her talent that we knew we had to have her capture our wedding day as well. On the big day, Nicky truly went above and beyond, traveling all the way to Alabama to photograph our celebration. Her work was phenomenal - she really captured the energy and joy of the party. I can't recommend Nicky Byrnes Photography enough!

    One year later and so so happy with our photos.

    A little over one year ago, my partner and I needed to get married so that we could be together across the closed Canadian border. We had two weeks to plan a wedding, and put everything together. I reached out to a couple different photographers and Nicky at Nemus Photography was recommended to me. She absolutely passed the vibe check in our impromptu early morning wedding and was so kind, and chill. Such a great person to work with and I'm really happy with how the photos turned out. We booked a very short session with just the ceremony and some couples photos after. She made our hastily put together wedding look absolutely stunning. I'm so happy with everything. Thank you so much.

    Best wedding photos EVER!!!

    Nicky is the best! Everything was so easy. She was so relatable and fun! Since we were eloping, the pictures were even more important since that's all our family and fiends could see. Everyone has told us our wedding photos were the best they have ever seen!

    Crazy talented and wonderful to work with

    Nikki from Nemus photography is a fantastic Tahoe-local and wonderfully talented artist.
