Welcome. Since 2011, Lerina has been photographing weddings of all shape and sizes. She has traveled throughout the country and abroad documenting love stories and the events that surround the most magical day in a couple's life. Today she calls both the desert and the coast home but feels comfortable anywhere a camera is slung around her neck, shooting on her medium of choice – film. Her work has been published and featured by Condé Nast Traveler, SELF Magazine, Green Wedding Shoes, Wedding Chicks, more.

Lerina's work has been described as timeless, candid, and authentic. She specializes in helping her clients feel relaxed and comfortable in order to capture the most natural feeling images, directing when needed and taking a step back to capture the energy of the day in its purest form.

    Highly Recommend

    We were so lucky to have Lerina Winter photograph our wedding day!!! She was incredibly organized and communicative as we prepared for the event, went above and beyond to capture every incredible moment, AND delivered our photos in a (more than) timely fashion. I remain astounded and grateful that she was able to capture so many brilliant pictures of our special day, and know that we'll cherish these photos for the rest of our lives. If you're thinking about hiring her for ANYTHING at all, don't delay!!

    Amazing Photography Services & Skills

    There aren't enough words to describe how amazing of a job Lerina did photographing our wedding in November 2022. Incredibly professional, talented, and diligent, Lerina perfectly captured our special day. She worked with us ahead of time to develop our shot list, but nothing felt forced or like we had to spend oodles of time away from our guests. Loved that the package we got also came with an engagement session. I will look back on these photos for the rest of my life with joy.

    Amazing engagement and Wedding photography

    Lerina photographed our LA wedding in August 2022 and we could not have been happier with our experience with her and her team! Lerina was very organized and professional when booking our pre-wedding engagement photo session at the Santa Barbara courthouse as well as our wedding day photography. She is extremely talented, artistic and creative, and was an absolute joy to work with. She made us feel very comfortable while being photographed, was a lot of fun to be around, and made our overall experience very pleasant and memorable. Her photos from our engagement session and wedding day— a perfect mix of digital and film— turned out better than what we could have ever imagined! She thoughtfully captured all of the special moments of our wedding and we have really enjoyed reliving the day every time we look through them.     Lerina Winter - Wedding Photography

    Lerina joined us for our adventure wedding excursion in Alaska, to document an entire weeks worth of sailing and wedding festivities. During this time, she did an absolutely incredible job in balancing taking photos of the beautiful scenery, the wedding party, and my husband and I. The photography turned out INCREDIBLE. Lerina's ability to communicate, multi-task and blend in perfectly with wedding party was wonderful. She is so personable, and talked with us extensively about what we were looking for in our wedding photography. She was willing and eager to go to great lengths to get some very adventurous photos, and my husband and I truly could not be happier with how they turned out. I would absolutely recommend Lerina Winter for your photography needs, and I truly get told all the time how beautiful our photos are.

    Talented and Lovely to Work With

    Lerina was so easy to work with from the start! She quickly responded to our inquiry, and in our call, it was easy to decide that she was the wedding photographer we wanted to work with. We already knew that we loved her aesthetic. So when communication and logistics were easy, we were confident about working with her. Our wedding was scheduled for June 2020. We were really bummed about significantly downsizing to a small wedding in the last minute, but vendors like Lerina made the day so incredibly special. Lerina flew across the country to South Carolina to capture our small wedding. One year later, she and her assistant, Danny, flew out again to shoot our larger one-year anniversary renewal of vows. Throughout all the uncertainty, Lerina was easy to communicate with and incredibly reasonable with adapting the contract and rescheduling amidst the unprecedented circumstances. In retrospect, we were so blessed to get to know Lerina and Danny as well as we did because of the extended time of working together. They hold special places in our hearts and working with them was like working with dear, fun friends. They even accepted our invitation to our Low Country Boil rehearsal dinner and were wonderful with engaging our 2-year-old niece during photographing. We had such a blast together. Lerina helped us to feel natural in our photos and her images captured the love, joy, and beauty that filled our celebrations.
