California born, Minnesota raised, currently enjoying life in Sioux Falls, SD with my husband and a quirky turtle named Hermione. Lover of Jesus, good food, Star Wars, and books. You deserve a wedding without stress and "we have to's" - a celebration that feels comfortable, fun, & true to your personalities. I love helping couples simply feel like themselves on their wedding day; creating space for them to make memories instead of just photos.

I photograph wedding days as unposed as possible - outside of a designated portrait time, I am quietly observing and documenting. This leaves room for you to be in the moment with your friends and family and for the relationships you hold dear to translate honestly into photographs. I believe no amount of posing can create a better photo than genuine emotion and the opportunity for spontaneity (and a little chaos ha) to unfold. I include all parts of your wedding day, the preparation, the in-between, the moments that didn't go quite right - so you you can relive the full day, with the ones you love, every time you look at your photos.

Kylee tells the story of your day in photos!
We were beyond impressed with Kylee, and if we could go back and do it all over again, she'd be my top choice for our wedding photographer! We met Kylee at a bridal show and loved her focus on catching candid moments. She delivered -- our photos feel like us because she caught so many small moments and inside jokes. Looking back at our wedding photos, it's so easy to relive the day. She didn't just "take photos" but she really told our story beautifully. Another positive for us specifically: My husband and I are both kind of awkward photo subjects, and we were nervous about our engagement photos and wedding day photos. Kylee made the process so comfortable! She fit in with our bridal party, was easy to spend time with, and at the same time, managed to keep everyone on task. Honestly, I'm kind of bummed I don't have a reason to hang out with her now Bonus benefits of working with Kylee (IMO): 1. When she asked me "what does your family look like?" vs. something about parents specifically, I was sold. I lost my dad two years before our wedding, and it was such a relief to have a photographer who didn't make immediate assumptions about us. 2. She was SO FAST. We expected to wait much longer for our wedding photos, and she had first looks the next day. The rest of our photos were back quickly, too. 3. She took the time to know us. By the time the wedding day rolled around, I didn't worry at all about her getting the shots we wanted because we'd spent the time building a relationship with her. TL;DR: 10/10 recommend Kylee Jade Photography. We were so happy with the process and the results.

Kylee's the best at capturing the special moments!
I highly recommend Kylee Jade Photography for your engagement and wedding photos! From the planning meetings to our wedding day, Kylee made it all so easy for us. She made our engagement and wedding photos so much fun. She does such a great job at capturing real, raw and natural moments. I love that when we look at our photos, I see “us” instead of staged and awkward poses. She helped us feel at ease during our day. I appreciated her expertise in helping with our wedding day timeline, choosing the right location for the photos and taking the stress of this part of wedding planning off of our shoulders. She is detailed oriented and made the planning easy! She is a joy to work with! We will always treasure our wedding day photos!

Wonderful!!
Kylee organized a styled shoot and asked me to provide florals. I was blown away by the quality and beauty of the images she captured! Kylee is creative and talented, and is so easy to work with. I love her enthusiasm and vision for her work!

Professional and Fun!
We chose Kylee for the diversity and liveliness she has on display at a wedding expo, and she didn't disappoint! She was fantastic to work with in our wedding day, from the preplanning to the day. She was flexible with our locations and helped us plan out a schedule in ways we hadn't thought of. The pictures were more than we hoped for. She got my brother to laugh and smile in the family photos--something I've never witnessed before. And she captured so many personalities perfectly with her candid shots during the ceremony and reception. We liked her as a person so much, we feel like she became a friend from the few interactions leading up to and on our wedding day. I would, and do, recommend her to everyone!
