I’m easy going and laid back. I love iced coffee with oat milk, thrift store shopping, fly-fishing and hanging around at the house with my husband and chocolate lab named Moose, decorating my home, eating tacos, seeing live music and documenting couples in love!

I have a documentary/candid approach but will still help pose/direct you. I focus on capturing the photos that can't be recreated or staged, fleeting moments that fade as a memory and the photos you might not have witnessed first hand on your wedding day. Photos that are artful, timeless and undeniably you with a focus on the nature setting we're in, the little details you've included, your loved ones, the dance floor vibes and everything in between all in the best light.

    Amazing Photographer

    Kara was able to capture our day seamlessly. We had many unexpected changes during our day but she continually advocated for our best interests. We loved how the photos came out and how she was able to capture the energy of our day. We would 100% recommend this vendor.

    Hire her!

    We hired Kara for our wedding photos and I can’t even describe how worth it she is. Our photos came out so incredible! I still get compliments on them all of the time.     AMAZING Photographer!

    Kara was our photographer for our engagement and wedding photos. She captured our special day magically, authentically, creatively, and just beyond beautifully. I highly recommend getting her highest package (including a second shooter all day coverage) — she captured so many moments that we’re eternally grateful for. I couldn’t imagine our photos any other way. There wasn’t one missed from the shot list. She’s very professional, yet also laid back and down for any adventure that you throw at her. She made us (and our families) feel super comfortable was communicative with us throughout the entire process of booking to the wedding. Her editing style is unique, and she really goes the extra mile to get those perfect shots. Her attention to detail is admirable! Kara has also captured some mini sessions family sessions for us.     Couple/Engagement Pictures

    I have yet to work with Kara on wedding photos, but she has helped me in two other sessions! And let me just start by saying that she is very talented! She captures all the right pictures.
