    Amazing Wedding Experience with Joy and Koji

    My husband and I hired Joy and Koji for our big day. I interviewed a handful of photographers but ultimately chose Joy because of her calming aura. Plenty of my guests noticed how Joy was "like a butterfly" and floated around capturing great shots all night. Throughout the planning process she was more than accomodating and reassuring and did not disappoint the day of! She made sure to capture any "must have" photos and directed everyone for family photos with finesse and ease. Koji capturing the day on Super 8 was just the icing on top! I cannot thank you both enough!!!

    My favorite artist

    Joy is my favorite contemporary artist. I’ve watched her photography evolve for over a decade and she continues to push the boundaries of her vision to new heights. Her photos are our only keepsake from the day of our wedding, which took place in our backyard during the 2020 quarantine. She transformed a less than ideal wedding scenario into the most magical series of images I’ve ever been a part of. She captured all of the hopes and fears present with us on that day and handed them back to us infused with the ethereal magic of her vision. She will never know what her art means to us. She is a master of her craft, and one of the most special friends I’ve ever had.

    Joy is the best ever!

    Joy is the best photographer you will ever have!! She has captured all of our special moments for the past 6 years; She did our engagement shoot, private marriage ceremony, wedding day, and even our maternity pictures. We literally get compliments all the time when we show people our pictures saying they look like something from a magazine. Joy knows how to make you feel so comfortable during the shoot. She’s such a professional and has an unreal eye for angles, lighting, poses etc. I could go on and on but in short, hire her! You won’t regret it!!
