Jim Payette Photography

Jim's passion for photography ignited in his early years, borrowing his mother's camera to capture the world around him. This enthusiasm intensified in high school when he got his hands on a German-made Leica II camera, generously lent by his uncle.

Jim took a cue from a friend and left southern Florida and moved to the coastal town of New Smyrna Beach with stunning white beaches twenty minutes south of Daytona Beach. Here he set up shop with a full portrait studio and continues to seize special High School senior moments for the two local high schools. And, he has discovered a new love – family beach portraits.
