Jackie Marko Photography is a Kansas City-based Catholic wedding photographer specializing in editorial and documentary-style imagery that honors the sacredness of the sacrament. With a reverent and artful approach, Jackie thoughtfully captures nuptial Masses, meaningful moments, and the beauty of Catholic traditions. While based in Kansas City, Jackie regularly travels to photograph Catholic weddings in St. Louis, Chicago, Boston, Seattle, New York, Santa Fe, and beyond. Formerly known as Timshel Studios, Jackie serves couples who value faith, beauty, and intentional storytelling.

Because your wedding day is more than an event—it’s a sacrament, a story, and a beginning worth remembering well. I’m here to document it with care and creativity, so you can be fully present to every moment. I studied Art and Theology at Benedictine College, and both still shape how I see the world. Photography is my way of reflecting the beauty Christ has shown me -- and my way of honoring your vocation with the depth and dignity it deserves.

    Truly a 10000/10 experience with Jackie from start to finish, we cannot recommend her highly enough. From our first call with her, the conversation flowed naturally. She took the time to genuinely get to know us as a couple, asking thoughtful questions about what was most important to us, our vision for our wedding day, and the inspiration behind all the moments we wanted her to capture. Our engagement shoot several months prior helped us get comfortable in front of the camera (something neither of us were used to). By the time our wedding day came, knowing what to expect made the whole experience more relaxed and fun. She was so attentive and intentional about understanding our priorities and wants. We sent her a Pinterest board with all our inspo (there was a LOT lol) and she delivered. Jackie and her admin team are very responsive and did a phenomenal job helping us prepare logistics as our wedding date got closer. We had a Catholic wedding and there were many meaningful moments throughout our Nuptial Mass we wanted to capture. She approached everything with care and respect, and we got all the pictures we wanted (and then some). Throughout the entire day she was incredibly flexible and adaptable. When things didn't go according to plan (our fault, not hers), she was quick on her feet and handled every moment with grace and patience. We got the wedding guest book and definitely recommend you do, too. It's really high quality and a cool way to commemorate your love. We had our guests sign it at our reception and now it's displayed in our living room. If you're looking for a wedding photographer who is so darn talented, professional, patient, warm, and truly invested in capturing your day beautifully, book her!!! You will be so glad you did and it's 100% worth the investment. We're eternally thankful and blessed that she got to capture our wedding day.

    Jackie is the BEST

    Picking a wedding photographer was a big deal for me, and I was super confident in Jackie's skill and her personality before the wedding day. However, nothing could have prepared me for the day! Different parts of the day I would feel stress coming on because of making different timelines, and I would look to Jackie, and she was calm. Her calm demeanor and positive presence created a space for me to feel totally relaxed on my wedding day. Any stress would immediately subside- that is a gift that I am so grateful for, and truly unexpected! My family, husband. and bridal party were all impressed and comfortable too. The whole day felt natural, fun and beautiful. Lastly, the photos!! The end results were beautiful, and captured all the parts of the day that we wanted. Everyone we show the photos too rave about her use of color and editing style. We cannot recommend Jackie enough- and I do, to everyone I know. As someone who really cared about my wedding photos, I could not be happier!

    literally the best investment we made

    Jackie shot my wedding in 2022 & I still stare at her photos almost daily :') Of all the vendors we hired for our wedding, Jackie was the one I cared the most about because I knew her work was beautiful, her personality was so fun, & that her photos would look like art on our walls! She really lived up to every expectation :')
