I’m a Washington, DC–based portrait photographer, and weddings are among the assignments I cherish most. It’s a privilege to capture such a defining moment in a couple’s life with images that stand the test of time.

I photograph weddings with a focus on authenticity and emotion, balancing photojournalism with the quest for the most beautiful shot. I notice and immortalize real, unscripted moments of joy as they happen, unobtrusively. I also take stunning, expressive portraits of your guests looking their best, making sure everyone is represented. This is one of your life’s most meaningful moments, and the occasion for me to create images you’ll treasure for years to come!

    Extremely impressed

    François's photos were the right choice for our wedding. He was professional, responsive and reliable to deal with, and the photography shows serious talent for both indoor and outdoor shots, leaving us with a generous package of memories of the day. An excellent balance of action shots and more composed, classic wedding photos. Extremely impressed.

    Special memories

    Our wedding had no shortage of cameras, but François's photos are the ones that truly captured the day. They're the ones I can't stop returning to. It was a joy to have François around on our big day. As a photographer he was friendly and unobtrusive and made everyone at ease around him as he worked. His eye for detail meant that he was able to create special memories of the atmosphere we’d planned, while also nailing the spontaneous moments of the day.     Perfectly captured our special day

    I genuinely can't say enough good things about François and the photos he took at our countryside wedding. From start to finish, he was so easy to work with: attentive, graceful, never intrusive. It really shows in the final album. He captured everything: the venue, the big moments, and portraits of guests from both sides of the family. What I love most about his portraits is that nobody looks stiff or posed. Somehow he manages to bring out each person's personality, which is such a rare thing. And the venue shots! He clearly had an eye for the light, catching it at that golden late-afternoon moment when everything just glows. There's so much happiness in these photos. I keep going back to the album, and every time it feels like reliving the day all over again. Couldn't recommend François more highly!
