Hi, I’m Brittany and I’m so glad you’ve stopped by! Through Brittany Taylor Photography I pride myself in capturing all of life’s milestone moments and preserving them through beautiful imagery. It is my goal to bring raw emotion to life and tell a unique story (your story) through each photograph. Having been in the industry for well over a decade I have the experience and expertise to provide my clients with both the professionalism and personal detail in which I believe every client deserves.

A bi coastal photographer, I balance my time between New York City and California’s Central Coast. People often ask which I prefer and it’s impossible to compare two of the most incredible places I have been lucky enough to know. I have a deep love of art, poetry, classic novels, all things French and am constantly inspired by the beauty of the world around me. Forever chasing light, you’ll notice I can’t resist a golden hour opportunity and love playing around with natural light through my imagery. I find light flare and a golden glow absolutely mesmerizing.

    INCREDIBLE Photographer, Artist, and Person

    Brittany is an UNBELIEVABLY talented photographer. It was an incredible gift to be able to relax on my wedding day and fully trust that Brittany would capture everything. Our venue was at a private residence rather than a traditional wedding venue so, naturally, Brittany had never been there before yet, in an instant, she scoped out all the best spots to shoot, both indoors and outdoors, and she single-handedly captured the entire day after our second shooter called out sick. Our photos are STUNNING. She is a true artist. Had I been offered the choice of any photographer in the world, I still would've chosen Brittany. I think it might be impossible for anyone to not love her work. As a bonus, she is an absolute gem of a human being and someone you just want to be around. Thank you, Brittany, it was an honor to have you capture our wedding.

    Brittany is the best

    Brittany Taylor Photography was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding day. From our very first interaction, her communication was easy, effective, and she always responded quickly to any questions or needs my husband and I had. The quality of her work is truly breathtaking - their photos are exceptional, creative, and captivating. Brittany was somehow in multiple places at once to get the best memories of our special day, and went above and beyond to work with our large family to coordinate all the group shots. Brittany is so sweet and kind, and her editing is out of this world. The soft, elegant photos she captured are exactly our style, and it was such a fun experience getting to work with her. She made us feel so relaxed and calm throughout the day. We are over the moon with the results and couldn't recommend Brittany Taylor Photography more highly!

    Our Day Portrayed Perfectly Through Her Lens

    Brittany was such a wonderful presence and a true professional. At one moment, when I was feeling particularly rushed, she was able to take me aside for a photo session and remind me that we had plenty of time for that moment. She was right, and by saying that, it reminded me to relax and enjoy that moment. My oldest teen son appreciated her guidance on how to look natural in photos. It was a beautiful and happy day, and Brittany was able to capture all of the best moments. Thanks to her, we'll be able to look back at our day through her len and relive the joy forever!

    We hired Brittany Taylor Photography months before our wedding and began the conversation with Brittany herself who was so kind and communicative from day 1. She heard out our vision, answered all of our questions, and made us feel so comfortable. From the start we knew she was not available for our wedding day but we had full confidence that whoever the photographer we got assigned with would be the perfect extension of Brittany. We were SO lucky to work with Claire who kicked us off with an amazing engagement shoot. She put in so much thought and effort into scouting a location and shooting with her felt like doing a fun art project with an old friend. We were so happy with our engagement photos, they turned out so beautifully and were delivered professionally and right on time. The week of our wedding there was a wildfire a few miles from the venue and it was somewhat touch and go. Brittany was hugely empathetic to our situation and was so kind during the stress of it all. Luckily the wedding went as planned. Claire did an amazing job of directing our crazy family, was efficient and captured all the group shots we wanted. She truly added so much value to our special day as a person and as a talented photographer. The photos turned out better than we could have ever imagined. Claire had a great eye for leveraging the scenery of our venue and finding the most magical shots. Major kudos to Claire and Brittany for making us feel beautiful and for capturing the essence of our day. Love how it's packaged nicely in an online gallery as well. THANK YOU X A MILLION!!!
