Azaria Chavira
Hi! I’m Azaria. I am a Northern California-based Travel Wedding and Elopement photographer. How did I get here? I grew up in small-town Nebraska with a love for adventure and photography. I got to explore those passions when I got married, my husband joined the military, and we got stationed overseas. I used that opportunity to travel and see many countries. When we returned stateside, I pursued my passion for photography by getting my degree at Brooks Institute of Photography.
I feel like photography is a unifying language that transcends boundaries. I want my images to reflect real life, so my style deliberately switches between editorial, advertising, and journalism. I want my photographs of you to feel timeless and look amazing when you show your family and friends or print them out to hang on the wall.

Amazing Wedding & Engagement Shoot
Azaria took our engagement photos and our wedding photos and was absolutely incredible! She was so sweet and easy to work with and kept us laughing! We loved having her in Yosemite and her photos turned out incredible! She just sent over a few sneak peaks from our wedding album and I can’t wait to see the rest! Not only did the photos turn out great, but she also helped me all day long and even handled all the buttons on my dress for me!

Greatful Newly Weds
My wife and I highly recommend Azaria Chavira! She was easy to get a hold of, very communicative and helpful getting things planned. The experience we had working with her was very professional but also on a personal level as she made us feel more comfortable while taking pictures. Azaria took the most beautiful pictures of our special day and we are forever greatful to have chosen her as our photographer for such a memorable occasion. We will always remember her making our day feel a little more magical as she made us smile and laugh and being able to take pictures that truly captured who we are.

Best Decision ever!
Azaria! Where do I start when it comes to her and her as a photographer!? She genuinely has been phenomenal all the way around. Not just as a professional photographer but also someone who wants and gives her clients her 110% best and it absolutely shows! She's been insanely patient with me and very reassuring too. Although I am her client who booked her for our engagement photo's and wedding, I have to say there is not a single individual who could compare to the work she's provided. Her confidence, communication, professionalism and reassurance is definitely top tier!! I have total faith in her and what she does, that I wouldn't change a single thing or have it any other way! Her photo's are proof! Her personality is proof. She is so approachable but professional as well as understanding that it was very easy for me to gravitate to her. I know from the moment we had our phone consultation that I knew I just had to have her. Her photo's are gorgeous and the fact I can be so comfortable and be myself makes the photo's even better. Like think about it? If you can't have a client relationship with who your hiring as an important key to your day is it really worth it? Yeah there's a ton of photographers out there but Azaria, I dont regret her and her work for a single second. When she tells you it's about you and what you want what... she means that from the heart. Not to mention she's such a good hype person to have in your corner. I adore this woman so much and her work that I'm already planning on doing photo's with her for when my husband to be and I have our 1st wedding anniversary! She's got an eye for photography and a passion that runs deep in her heart! When I say I recommend her, I truly mean I recommend her without a single doubt!

Excellent Travel Photographer
Azaria not only delivers a beautiful product, but she is a beautiful person inside and out. Her talent behind the lens is undeniable. My husband and I booked her for a wedding vow renewal in the California Redwood forests. Originally we went with her because she knew the area and could help navigate us during the day (plus her instagram was proof of her skills!), we ended up getting so much more. She recruited her husband David to stand in as our "officiant" (even though we're already married), and the care and attention to detail he took made the ceremony so much more sacred. It was his energy that truly led the vows. Azaria spent all day with us and creatively had us posing and positioned behind the most spectacular scenery. She thought of all the things I didn't: maps, cell service, comfy shoes, jackets, and more. She truly gives her whole energy to your event. We had several zoom meetings leading up to our travels she makes herself available for all ideas or questions. I was surprised when she told me how many clients she works with annually because my husband and I felt like we were the only ones- her attention to detail and talent are outstanding. I'm grateful to have had her shape and capture our day.

Azaria is everything you need in a photographer!
Azaria is like the best friend photographer that every couple needs. Hands down I would hire Azaria again, she was able to handle the chaos of a large family while still being attentive to our needs as a couple while we were taking photos. She was not only a photographer, but an extra set of hands, she fit in like another family member, always willing to help. She helped me get dressed, made sure I was hydrated on the hike to the photoshoot location, and held my hand to make sure I never fell while in heels. I was completely comfortable and trusted her throughout the process to deliver seriously beautiful photos! I found Azaria super last minute, like less than 2 weeks out and she was so great and willing to make it work! She was communicative and super thoughtful about every little detail, giving us pointers and advice to make sure we could have the best possible outcome for an outdoor photoshoot in April. For those who are having multicultural weddings, or more culturally traditional weddings, Azaria is the perfect photographer for the occasion. She understood the importance of my culture's wedding process and clothing, and was extremely respectful and open-minded throughout. I highly recommend her for your next occasion!
