Hi I’m Ashley :) A wedding photographer and Super 8 filmmaker passionate about capturing real, meaningful moments. I specialize in both digital photography and nostalgic Super 8 video to tell your story in a way that feels timeless and true to you. Wedding days bring me so much joy, and I love working with couples to create an experience that’s personal, fun, and uniquely theirs. My favorite images are always the ones that you cannot pose - the quiet glances, tearful hugs, and shared moments with loved ones. Whether you're planning a traditional celebration or an adventurous elopement in the woods, I'd love to help bring your vision to life.

My approach to wedding days is simple: document them as they truly are. I’ll gently guide and pose you when needed (as much or as little as you’d like), but my heart is in being an observer—capturing the honest, unscripted moments that tell the real story of your day. I bring a calm, steady presence, a big smile, and yes… always a snack and sweet treat in my bag for those wedding day emergencies.

    Rockstar Ash!

    My husband and I knew that our photographer would be a top priority for us. I stumbled upon Ashley’s instagram and loved the emotion and real moments she captured in the sample galleries. We scheduled a zoom call & she was friendly, kind, responsive and just the person I wanted to be with me throughout the big day. We had a smaller wedding at a VRBO in Asheville and she came both the day before to shoot some pictures of our rehearsal dinner and practice as well as our engagement shoot that afternoon on a stunning hike. I felt very equipped with Ashley and knew she had everything handled. The pictures turned out stunning and my goodness the turnaround was FAST! Beyond my expectations for the quality and memories captured and the quick turnaround. We are forever grateful that we chose to work with Ashley and that she worked with us. We love our pictures and love her personality and care. She made our wedding day fun and captured so many sweet moments I didn’t get to see the day of. 10/10 recommend!!

    Ashley is the best!

    From start to finish, working with Ashley Seltzer Photography was a dream. She and her assistant were responsive, professional and incredibly friendly throughout the entire process.     The best decision I made

    Ashley is the best!

    Ashley photographed our wedding, engagement, and rehearsal dinner. I couldn’t recommend her more! She is able to make you feel comfortable and free in the moment, while capturing the most amazing photos. Like most people, she will tell you to reach out if you need anything.
