Hi, I'm Ashley! A Chicago wedding photographer with a love for capturing fun-loving and adventurous couples. From the I do’s to the epic dance moves, it’s my passion to capture authentic and candid moments created and inspired by one-of-a-kind couples! My process is simple. Document your day and create a vision with you: together we’ll create a seamless day that doesn’t feel like a posed photo shoot. I am LGBTQ+ friendly and support inclusivity and diversity.

My work is a mixture of classic and photojournalistic with a focus on candid moments and creating an invaluable connection with each and every client! It’s my passion to capture your wedding day in a way that tells your story.

Ashley Hamm Photography was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding. From the beginning, their communication style was accessible, open, and prompt - they made us feel comfortable and well-cared for throughout the entire process. The quality of their work is truly exceptional, with a keen eye for detail that captured all the special moments of our big day. Ashley went above and beyond in more ways than one, serving as a true team player. She even helped out the wedding planners, covered for other vendors briefly, and provided unwavering support to the bride, all while effortlessly executing her role as the photographer. Ashley is amazing and so much fun to be around - she kept everything light and was genuinely concerned about how we were doing, making it feel less like "just work" and more like spending time with a friend. We are thrilled with the beautiful photos that will allow us to relive our wedding day for years to come. Ashley Hamm Photography is worth every penny and we couldn't recommend them more highly.

No one better than Ashley!
What more can I say about Ashley other than she’s simply the best!! We booked Ashley for our engagement pictures last year and adored working with her - she was so fun and made the process easy. And the pictures were gorgeous, we couldn’t have imagined any other photographer on our wedding day! As expected, Ashley and her assistant were amazing and we couldn’t have felt more comfortable with them. We look forward to working with Ashley for years to come!!

10/10 Would Recommend!
Ashley is incredible and we cannot recommend her enough! As an LGBQT couple we were looking for someone who not only make us feel comfortable but understood posing for a same sex couple. Starting from our initial kick-off call to our engagement shoot and through our wedding day Ashley was nothing short of amazing! She made us feel at ease and like someone we had known for a lifetime. She was knowledgeable and helpful when it came to picking out a location and poses for our shoots during our engagement session and wedding day. Ashley was prompt, patient, understanding and brought a much needed sense of calm on our wedding day itself. Let's face it, weddings always have a curveball and Ashley was able to go with the flow and help my husband and I feel immediately at ease while still capturing the day. Every photo delivery we would receive, was better than the last. We thought we couldn't be happier after seeing our engagement session and then we received the photos from our wedding day. Ashley captured not only our special moments of the day but the details (flowers, table settings, bar set up, guest book set up etc.) and we couldn't be happier. Quality service, quality photos, quality across the board. At the end of the day Ashley feels like family and that's more than we could have ever asked for!

Ashley Hamm is an amazing photographer!
As a wedding planner I have loved working with Ashley! Not only is her professionalism amazing, but my couples love working with her because she's easy to work with, so kind, and oh so talented! She puts couples at ease on the day and the photo results are incredible. I highly recommend Ashley!
