My name is Amber. I am a photographer based in the Clearwater/Tampa, FL area but willing and ready to travel anywhere. I thrive on documenting the moments and emotions of life which is how I found my niche with wedding photography. I am passionate about being the one to capture every minute of love, laughter, excitement, and happiness on the day that you will remember forever.
I feel that my style and eye for organic images and moments help set me apart from others. It has evolved but I found a work style that is unique and that I can call mine. I would describe my photography as a photo-journalistic style that is led by the moments and the emotions surrounding my couples. I am there to tell your story and to document your day. My style is accentuated by taking in the surrounding areas and creatively using them to enhance my photos. I LOVE sunshine and use natural lighting as often as I can to produce photos that have a more genuine feel.

Amazing!!
We are so happy we chose Amber for our Engagement and Wedding Photos! She did such an incredible job, and was great to work with. Seeing the photos back after our engagement shoot last year made me extra excited for our wedding, because it made me realize that we didn’t have to try to look perfect, she would be able to find the perfect moments and capture them for us, which took a lot of pressure off on the day of the wedding. She did an awesome job of providing direction on how to set up the shots without making it look too posed. Our photos look so natural and really captured the day the way I remember it. Amber was also super patient and great with our niece (the only baby in the wedding), who is just over a year old. We really love her editing style, because it looks natural and isn’t over done or highly filtered, but also makes us look our absolute best! She worked great with the videographer and her fellow staff were accommodating, helpful, and innovative. She was also super fast with getting us our sneak peek photos, and provided way more than I thought we would get this soon! 10/10 recommend Amber for any event photos!

You need to book Amber!
When I first saw Amber's photos I loved her style and was so excited when I saw her pricing was very reasonable. We live out of state and weren't able to have our engagement photos with her, and she was so accommodating and took photos at our welcome party the night before our wedding. It was very easy to send the list of photos we wanted captured and Amber and Britt made sure they were taken. We felt very comfortable with Amber the day of and loved the poses/movement she had us do. We've only gotten the sneak peeks back from the wedding but we are obsessed! Definitely use Amber for your wedding photos!!

Micro Beach Wedding
Amber photographed our micro beach wedding in august, and she was nothing short of amazing. The photos are absolutely breathtaking. More than that, she was a huge help in planning everything and keeping things running calm while other mishaps occurred. I couldn’t recommend her enough!!

Natural, Beautiful, and Unforgettable
We had the absolute pleasure of working with Amber McWhorter for both our engagement photos and wedding day, and we could not be more grateful. From start to finish, Amber was incredibly organized, professional, and thoughtful in her approach. During our engagement shoot, she made us feel so at ease — and that comfort carried through beautifully on our wedding day. Despite how hectic the day was, Amber made sure to prioritize the specific photos we had requested, never missing a beat. Beyond that, she captured all of the photos that we didn’t even know we needed. She has a special way of making you feel natural and relaxed, which truly shines through in every image. The photos turned out more beautiful than we ever imagined — I honestly never dreamed I would have wedding photos this stunning. One thing that especially amazed me was how Amber handled the little imperfections — I had a few (…but rather significant) dress and skin issues on the big day, but you’d never know from the photos. She worked some kind of magic and made everything look flawless, all while keeping the lighting and moments incredibly natural and timeless. Her talent and attention to detail are nothing short of miraculous. Amber didn’t just take photos — she captured every precious moment with care, authenticity, and an artistic eye.
