Over a decade of wedding photography experience helps me understand when to laugh and joke around with my couples, when to get down to business to keep things on schedule, and how to do both at the same time. I pride myself on being a fun, professional and unobtrusive wedding photographer, letting my excitement for telling their love story bring out the best in the couples I work with. Based in beautiful Portland, Oregon, I love to showcase the magic of the Pacific Northwest in my images.

A Magician at capturing moments
We have worked with Alyson for several years. Her photography is obviously gorgeous but the thing I am always at awe with is how she is able to spot and capture these beautiful, emotional moments that are naturally unfolding throughout the wedding. She seems to have an intuition of these things and always puts her self unobtrusively in position to capture them. She is one of the best story tellers, and she is a fantastic choice for your wedding photographer.

One of the Best

Beautiful Imagery!
As a wedding officiant, I've worked alongside Alyson on a number of occasions and have found her to be kind, graceful, professional and courteous. She's diligent and focused photographer with a keen eye for detail, yet does not lose sight of the also important bigger picture. Her steady focus is balanced and complimented by her ability to naturally let things flow while remaining present to capture all the sweet moments. For these aspects, in addition to her calm, confident demeanor and other positive traits, I'd surely be happy to recommend and collaborate with her again!

Ebey's Landing Wedding on Whidbey Island
I was lucky enough to have Alyson photograph my wedding. She was very easy to work with, she got along with my whole family and wedding party. Her personality was perfectly balanced between having fun and getting the job done. She captured the feel of the day beautifully. I now have countless "tender moments" captured of my friends and family. Alyson was very attentive during the day always at the right place at the right time. We opted to add the photo booth for our reception which was absolutely priceless. We now have a 5 min stop-motion video of the photo booth. It is full of precious family moments that we will forever cherish. Alyson more than exceeded our expectations and provided us with more memories than I could dream of having. She is professional and easy to communicate with. I highly encourage everyone to book Alyson, and don't miss out on the photo booth!!!

Beautiful, timeless photos for our wedding!
Alyson Levy Photography helped me make my wedding an utterly perfect success in every way. Not only were my images amazing, I felt completely taken care of, comfortable, and at ease with A.L. Photography as my guide. From the rehearsal to the last dancer standing, Alyson was right there for every moment, capturing the true feel of the event, even the love in the air! I found her rates extremely reasonable for the thoroughness of her services, the attention to detail, and the quality of the photography. Alyson worked with me from beginning to end to make sure I got all of the special shots that the "moms" wanted including candids of moments I missed that night from being so busy "being bride".
